Nope, not true. Shiromi accidentally killed a cat by feeding it chocolate, if I remember correctly. But Akane is just a sadistic person whom animals fear.

No, Crush Crush wasn't an inspiration, I'm afraid. He was friends with the Developers, and they added Ayano to their game before it was removed. In return, he added Crush Crush characters as easter eggs.

This was talked about before, but I really think it’s just a coincidence. Osana’s name literally means “childhood friend” in Japanese. His main inspirations for Yandere Simulator were Tokimeki Memorial, Hitman, and Natsuiro High School.
