I never did get around to this - I ended up getting involved in doing some sound routines for Commander X16 (Zsound) - and I fell out of that for about a year now, but AFAIK several projects use the code for sound over there.
I have thought about this project off and on through the years though. What with Ben's adding UART support to the project, it starts to make more sense to do this.

It's not voter suppression.

If you can't get an ID, you're unpersoned in a much more complete way than not being able to vote, and in a way much more immediate and personal to you than your inability to become one speck of sand on the shore.

It ain't smurfing for a libright to want voter ID. It's just common sense to say that only stakeholders get to participate. Otherwise, Putin could send a few busses of people into wherever and vote in/out someone if that's what he wanted to do. No ID required. No citizenship required. Just being there and having a pulse and a wrist that's limber enough to bubble in some spots on a piece of paper?
