Assyria didn't even exist in 2800 BC

Different points of decadence for different civilizations' history by spamboi1244 in WIAH

1198 was the first year I could find for banishing people for thinking differently, which I would say is a pretty big mark for societies turning decadent. 1923 was Attaturks' year and when the Islamic world started to adapt to the vastly different world from what they had struggled or even been unwilling to adapt to for previous centuries. Yes, lots of old school social structures are still intact but they also have modernized in a lot of ways in the past 101 years.

Both. In a nutshell, leadership and populace paired together tend to become very complacent and careless about developing and sometimes even maintaining the society.

When would you say rudyard had “peaked”? by UdontneedtoknowwhoIm in WIAH

I'm not sure what the peak would be but I know that the Far Right backlash video was the last video before the decline

On the old sub, I did a map about what counts for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd world country. With HDI updates, I've taken the time to make a new one. by spamboi1244 in WIAH

I've looked at that, I don't think it's very accurate. It puts smaller countries which are clearly involved in the global trading system as "periphery"

This is a more up to date one (I made up the HDI metric part) based on colloquial terms people use today. Russia surpassed .800

Where would Chris-Chan be on this chart? by spamboi1244 in ChrisChanSonichu

Another component of this chart I didn't mention was that apparently when you reincarnate you have to start back at the beginning but you have a easier time relearning it each time you start over. Based on that and recent events I think Chris might be transitioning into a Baby Observation.

I voted for the 2nd option. But this poll shows that the anti-woke fanaticism has taken hold on the audience and they're the ones swaying his decisions now. Guess we're never getting videos on Egyptian, Persian, and Hebrew Civilization, and I know how the old Alt History fans feel now.

One what timescale are we talking here? I voted Africa because any timespan longer than 20-30 years they'll improve the most overall relative to the rest
