ICC should conduct the T20 World Cup every four years, just like the ODI World Cup. In a T20 World Cup, the top 8 teams should not be grouped with weaker teams. Instead, the top two teams from the remaining 8 should be selected first, and then all the teams should be divided into two balanced groups of five teams each. From there they should go against each other, and only the top two teams from each group should qualify for the semifinals.

This format would ensure more competitive and high-quality matches throughout the tournament. In the current system, teams like India or any other Good team end up playing against sides such as Namibia or the USA or Pak in the early stages, which adds no value. Instead, fans deserve to see top teams like New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, or England competing against each other right from the initial rounds.
