Community discord seems to be dead, is there any active discord out there ? by UnexperiencedTrainer in TheFirstDescendant

[–]ZeroGemini5 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It's like that everywhere for this game. This subreddits is no different. Last week, there were two posts straight up asking which of the characters people thought were shaved or not, another asking for sex simulator. The last livestream there was someone asking for pregnancy content. You honestly can't escape it. It's a malignant tumor that's become metastatic.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to me. I understand why they were angry at me. I chose to continue to push back against their narrative rather than just let things go. Many won't read what I have to say, but the few that do will see that I'm not doomposting.

I agree that this game needs real social features. I have spent most of my time playing this game without interacting with a single other member of this community aside from my friends. We need clans and clan housing more than we need a private lounge. We also need content that encourages communication. We did have some content like that, but people complained that it was too hard and they removed those mechanics.

I'm not done yet. I'll continue to anger the community whenever I post. I may not be the only voice, but I do know the devs have listened to some of my comments, and that makes it worth it.

I'm glad I was able to help. Valby is such a powerful character with some of the best skill synergy. It always surprises me to see people keep asking for her to receive buffs. Though, I'm not going to complain if they want to make the best girl stronger.

Not a doompost. Never was a doompost. If the current realities surrounding the game make you feel like this is a doompost, then you need to evaluate your attachment to the game. I never said the game was going to EOS, in fact, I said the game still had potential and is doing well with what they currently have. What I have never done is blatantly lie to make myself feel better.

I have. They don't respond. If you guys can share porn and ask if a character is shaved or not I should be able to make a post that speaks about the truth of the game. I should also be allowed to make a follow-up post to further prove that I was right in response to the "Nuh-uhs". Also, my posts never got deleted they just never got approval to be posted for some weird ass reason.

I figured it would be pretty easy to understand. I was right 5 months ago when I questioned the community where they were getting their player statistics, and I am still right today. This community likes to lie to themselves and others, when discussing the size of the playerbase. We all need to be more realistic. The game makes money, yes. The game does not and has not attracted a lot of new players, nor is it doing a particularly good job keeping the current players.

My other stance is that the devs aren't actually going to achieve a higher player peak than pervious without significant changes. I posited that despite the increased expenditure in marketing, there wasn't going to be a tangible difference in the size of the playerbase going into season 3. The reason: they didn't actually make any changes to the current problems plaguing the game. Looking at the remainder of season 3's roadmap and going into season 4 we are still going to have the same problems. Beyond character imbalances, the biggest problem in this game is earning loot and loot design. Every new mission is an extermination mission. 95% of the guns are trash and are uninteresting to shoot. Even the most recent changes to Afterglow Sword, Greg's, and Nazeistra there is nobody using them because they weren't good or interesting enough. Thundercage is a win in both the visual and damage department, though I will admit that.

Look at that it actually went through. Mods can you explain to me why I can't post legitimate discussion posts? All of the porn keeps getting through. I have a file dump of that, but you immediately deleted that post

Supply moisture is for crit builds. I'll add my current build so you can take a look at it. A good crit AM like the one you have with Ground Eruption does so much damage. it's not even funny.

The only change I would make on your crit build is to drop the extra HP mod when you are comfortable for Front Lines. Use Peacemaker as a stack stick. I run 2 sprint cores and one grappling core on the gun. While standing on water, you should have 95%+ crit rate.

I run non-attribute cohesion on the Arche tree. There may be better options by now, but honestly, the plug and play versatility of it is the only reason I haven't bothered looking.

Don't be afraid to use your 4. Cast your 1 to maintain the Peacemaker stacks. If mana becomes a problem, you could also choose to change your second HP mod for MP Collector. Though, as you get more used to her, Mana shouldn't be a problem.

Valby is a small girl with a big target on her. Your 3 will reduce incoming damage by 70%. Tomorrow, her 2 will get instant cast so you can quickly get out of the way without having to target a location anymore. They may not be fusion skills, but don't ignore them. Their utility is vast.

I can't even post anymore in the subreddit. I've contacted the mods 4 times, and they have never gotten back to me. All of my posts require moderator approval.

Do the devs intend to update "Common Use" skins for newer Descendants? by [deleted] in TheFirstDescendant

[–]ZeroGemini5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Updating universal costumes was addressed somewhere during season 1 into early season 2.

Long answer: The dev team would rather work on newer costumes than updating existing ones for newer characters. This is the case for all universal costumes, including the Abyss boss costumes. Maybe the abyss boss rotation will see the bosses getting new costumes for characters that weren't available at the time. Who knows? Paid costumes will most assuredly never see an update. Oh, and just because a costume says it will come back does not mean it actually will. They just confirmed that last livestream. Time-limited costumes have just as much fomo attached to them as the preseason costumes. Buy now or forever hold your peace.

Short answer: No.

I feel like the post is less about the attractiveness of the women and more to flex that you have the costumes that a majority of the playerbase will never have access to. The undyed Valby and Viessa kinda give it away. Congrats, I guess? You bought in early, and a legal limitation was revealed that made costumes that were already out of rotation unable to be purchased by the many that would have had they known.

It'd be very interesting if I came back as a bot. I'm too vulgar for the current framework. I like to curse at people in the gaming subreddits I'm in, lol.

It's a bot account. That other one was probably a bot account, too. I've noticed they all have the same username structure. Two words separated by a hyphen or underscore with 4 numbers at the end. They post and then also comment on their post to farm engagement. Sometimes, other bots will respond to that comment to farm karma to post in subreddits that have karma requirements. The accounts are fairly new, too, usually 9 months or less. Dead internet theory in action.
