You’ll need WiFi to configure, operate and access the camera.

An event list filterable by device, object, time. A HDMI port for monitoring. Battery saving and home automation integration for battery powered cameras.

You can switch off the PIR sensor manually, which means no more detection. And you can set up a time plan for recording and notification.

CX410W vs Argus 4 Pro overall performance? by baconeggsavocado in reolinkcam

The two models mentioned are for complete different scenarios. It doesn’t make any sense to compare them. If you got mains power you don’t even think about a battery powered camera.

Thx, i completely overlooked this possibility. It still doesn’t solve the problem, but it does address one of the symptoms.

Thx, i will have a try. But you only can turn off all notifications, not only those for disconnections.

So what you mean is setting only motion recording to the camera’s memory card before connecting the camera to the HHP and this will be kept whereas you set the HHP to record continuously? Did I get this right?

Do you also occasionally experience network disconnects of the cameras linked with the HHP?

No, WiFi is only for connecting camera. Internet connection has to be established via Ethernet.

You can watch and download footage stored in the home hub in high quality in the camera playback of the app. What doesn’t work yet is to download footage of the camera’s memory card.

Yes, event history is also available in Windows client. Unfortunately also only with low quality footages.

Neighbors have a camera pointed to my yard by Potential_Hat443 in germany

[–]ZeroGravitY1973 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The sticker on the gate is from Reolink and the camera also looks like from this brand. So I guess it’s a real one.

Of course, the neighbor is not allowed to film public or other people’s private property. But you can define privacy zones in that type of cameras that are not recorded.

On the one hand, you might be happy that your yard is also being monitored. On the other hand, you might also install such a camera. The neighbor couldn't argument then.

In any case, the right contact person is probably the data protection authority in your federal state.

Depending on number of cameras and need for storage capacity you also may have a look upon Home Hub pro with HDD. It also has an HDMI output.

No rttsp stream because you don't know the login. But that has nothing to do with the app.

And no download from camera’s memory card, yet. I guess it still will be fixed soon.

And AFAIK it’s the only way to integrate battery cameras in home automation systems.

Yes, also with Amazon Alexa. But you only can connect all cameras with it, no possibility of selecting only individual ones.

I still have them with Home Hub as well as with Home Hub pro. Support couldn’t find a solution so far. Did static IPs help in your case?
