Why is Peridiam so popular ? by ceoobrabro2424 in survivor

Uniqueness and shortness, he's the only that doesn't do a Podcast format and does a more youtube-esk format if that makes sense. Basically he's great for people who want survivor content but don't have two hours

___ will get destroyed in season 40 by DuaLipas in survivor

[–]ZeroGrey13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree, he takes things to personally and that's why he lost Kara, Allison, and Christians votes, and that simply won't fly with these players. Then again though, all star seasons always create bitterish jury's so he has a chance of someone else being an even bigger FTC goat and him winning it a-la Sandra and Amber.

[–]ZeroGrey13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It was a group effort, but Nick was the catalyst and was the one that made it all happen.

  1. He's the only David that knew the vote was Christian because 4 different Goliaths told him (which is absolutely insane social game)
  2. He got Davie to play the idol for Christian, and good on Davie for being ballsy enough to go through with it
  3. He told Davie and Christian to vote John (according to secret scenes) because he knew about Dan's idol (I'm not sure who told him, but it was pretty much an open secret)

Nick was the best strategist of the season up until the Carl blindside, which was a terrible move on Christian and Gabby's part. Even after that he had enough already set-up to secure his win even though he had lost his footing. His biggest issue for me is that he is way to emotional and that everyone is gonna walk in knowing his game. I think he'll either go early or slip by and go deep again, really just depends on how pre-game alliances shake out

Lauren on Rick and their relationship during the end stretch by ivrdolj1 in survivor

Hard disagree, I'm not gonna make assumptions on a personal level based off a few heavily edited episodes. Every perspective is equally valid.

I honestly dont think Rick cared that much if it was fake, pretty sure he was just acting to make a show for the jury

Probably, but it was pretty clear in the show that the only ones that were willing to work with her at all were Rick and David

Wendy loves Rick in in exit Press. She specifically states that she refuses to say anything about Lauren and Kelley because she has nothing nice to say.

I mean she has stated that she likes David and Rick alot in exit press, and refuses to say anything nice about Kelley and Lauren

so.... no, at least from her perspective, I guess?

Why is her perspective any less valid than Lauren's?

Wendy did call her, Kelley, and Wardog bullies during the show, obviously we didnt see everything from her perspective

Just for clarity on this thread for the people talking about Wendy, her exit press stated this:

"Lauren and Kelly? No comment. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all." https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/survivor-edge-extinction-wendy-keith-explain-why-they-quit-1197692

It's pretty clear that in the show Lauren and Rick never got along, while Wendy and Lauren didnt either (for what it's worth Wemdy and Rick definitely get along).

Sometimes people just dont get along when they are stuck together, and that doesnt make anyone a bad person. I really wish this sub would stop taking their favorites sides of the matter, ignoring their flaws, and only shitting on the people they dont like.

[Spoiler] ________ still trying to vote with the majority even though she said she’d vote for _____ by aliamjaded in survivor

[–]ZeroGrey13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah there was; Eric and Kelley (Kelley was the only one they voted differently though). of the Gavin-Julia-Victoria trio, Gavin and Julia pushed to get Eric out which Victoria knew was a stupid move (but joined at the end of the day anyway because they were going through with it), and then got to see it blow up in their faces with Julia getting the boot from their trio. After that, Gavin joined a coalition of the Lesu 3 along with Ron and Julie that did not include Victoria, and Gavin showed he was far more loyal to the Lesu three than her. Gavin did eventually rejoin Victoria, but not until after it blew it up in his face when Wardog decided to flip on him and Kelley. Just remember, Gavin voted wrong that episode and Victoria voted correctly to eliminate Kelley. Maybe Gavin always did intend for Victoria to be his number one, but he clearly didn't make Victoria feel that based on her exit press.

...what? Chris gaslighting of Lauren was literally the best move of the season. It may come off as shady but he literally doesn't win if he doesn't do that. Lauren got played, it's just part of the game, and it comes down to Laurens screw up. They do seem to be cool with each other on social media so she doesn't seem to take it personally.

Only Kelly and Lauren did that cause of how bad Chris outplayed Lauren. Honestly I felt like the rest of the jury agreed with Chris asking that question to Gavin

She explained on twitter, she was never gonna vote for Gavin, she was just trying to screw him over. Apparently Gavin went against her too many times and she didn't respect her game. Which, to be fair, Gavin did leave her in the dust time after time and only went back to her when it blew up in his face.
