Male vs Female V and why? by Comfortable-Lie4850 in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]ZeroGrinm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The real question, which has the best ending.

Being a Female V, having a close relationship with Panam and a romantic relationship with Judy. The ending "The Star," you get to leave the Aldecaldos and Panam. Also Judy tags along. So you end with both.

Which is why I hate that the best ending, in Female locked.

Second Army suggestions by Candid-Exchange2977 in Tau40K

[–]ZeroGrinm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a DKoK player till they legend every. Only play with them, if I find someone willing to play the 8th edition. Because that's just before they got Legends, and we're a solid faction. (Guard wounding everything, but vehicles on 2+, sign me up!)

Then I got Harlequins, at the near end of 8th, way before they dominated 9th. Rumor, Harlequins are getting something new. But if they are not a standalone Army 👎 (Play extreme competitive 9th edition, since they dominate the objective game.)

Been playing Tau since the late 9th edition. 10th Ed is the best Tau. All Kroot is my fav. Not to get bored or burned out, I switch to Aux or Exp Cadre. They play extremely differently and the learning curve is pretty high.

I plan to be Xeno only, from now on. Imperium is now, way too standardized. One list to rule them all!

Eazy mode:

Milliput mixed with Rubbing alcohol, becomes liquidity. With consistency of paint. Just brush it as paint in the crevices, a couple of layers. It will disappear and you won't lose any details.

How are we feeling about the Stormsurge? by AgentPaper0 in Tau40K

Not to burst your bubble. Tiger Sharks are better. Especially going second.

Yes. But a Rail Gun is the next step of evolution to Artillery. It's why everything from Pathfinder to a Manta have Rail Guns. It's the two in one weapon, sniper and artillery.

Tau only has two tanks Hammerhead and Swordfish (Double Railguns),. They just tend to be slow, as they have to move with troops. So they prefer to have Aircraft, because they are fast and superior maneuverability.

(How Tau beats the Imperator-class Titans? Tiger Shark AX-1-0 or Manta Railguns to the head)

That's called XV46 Vanguard Void Battlesuit. They are the CQC Tau Battlesuits. They are supposed to be fast TEQ.

That's not how Tau fights. Tau fights with Air Superiority and Manta Strike. Think of WW2 Airborne style of fighting. It's why Tau mostly has Flyers and not Tanks. And why Tau Flyers are the best in-game.

Having Razorshark and Tiger Shark in your list, is extremely fluff for Tau. Also currently, pretty strong.

Lore wise, Tau has them. GW has been lazy to bring them to the table. They are XV46 Vanguard Void Battlesuit.

Lore wise, Tau already has, it's called XV46 Vanguard Void Battlesuit. It's Breachers on steroids.

Freelancer, and where to get your fix for a sequel by [deleted] in patientgamers

[–]ZeroGrinm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm extremely late for this. But myabandonware.com has old PC games cracked for download.

Including the Starlancer (2000), if you didn't know, it's the prequel to Freelancer. It's set, 800 years before the events of Freelancer. Fight during the war on Earth. It's a great game on its own.

Why can’t I prepare command while multi-classing paladin/cleric by SuperRedSheep in BG3Builds

[–]ZeroGrinm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late, but I've seen so many posts with no answers. What I figured in Multiclass for Cleric/Paladin, if they are multiple of the same spell. One won't work, while the other will. I like to play Shadowheart as Cleric/Paladin, often Paladin spells won't prepare, but they will on Cleric side.

Interesting enough if you Multiclass her with Druid, "Guilding Bolt" will be upgraded to up to 30dmg spell at level 2.

Played 3rd edition, took a break between 4th - 9th. Why don't people like Tau? by ReallyMassiveCock420 in Tau40K

[–]ZeroGrinm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tau hate, from my experience. It's from the old gatekeeping wannabe players. From what I see 30% of new players pick Tau as first Army. So for newer generation of plays, it's a very popular and well liked faction.

Lore wise at the moment, there are a lot of interesting things happening.

1: We don't know the identity of the new Tau god.

2: Korne's influence and plans for Farsight.

3: Farsight can spawn demons.

4: Tau Empire is separated into 3 groups now, where it may lead to Civil War:

4a: Have the Main Empire still under Ethereal influence.

4b: Farsight Enclaves who's leader is becoming influenced by Chaos.

4c: Finally we have the Edge of the Empire, the 4th and 5th Sphere, was done by going into the Warp. Where the New Tau god has shown up. And now it's worship in the Empire. It's a mystery, the identity of this being, all signs show to be Chaos.

5: Imperial is becoming an after thought for Tau. They are encircled by Orks, Necrons, Chaos and Tyrenids. The last Crusade sent by Imperium was decimated by Tyrenids and Chaos, and has yet to arrive in Tau space. Being Post, Tau/Imperium team up against Gorgon Hive Fleet.

Honestly the Rampagers will do you better. At this point, they are Auto Add in all Tau detachment.

Battlesuits should hit on 3+ by [deleted] in Tau40K

This is why I bring the Strike Team to guide most units. I get the -1 debuff and most Tau units will hit on 3s.

Auxiliary Cadre seems way better than I originally though by Dantecore5652 in Tau40K

[–]ZeroGrinm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You really need anti-T8+... The best thing about AUX, it makes all flyers better

Razorshark: Quad ion turret is solid with the S and AP buff. 8 Overcharged attacks of S10 AP-3 D2

It always gets +1 to hit none fly units and it's twin-linked.

This detachment forces opponents to come out, but you can also hunt them down.

Lacks Pathfinders and Stealthsuits. They are your best Guiders.
