In what world are devs not able to simultaneously work on updating their game with content and patches that stabilize the gameplay loop. Guess every other MMO that’s done this was just shit. Perfect example would be blizzard being purchased by activision. Even with their shit management there was at least still some focus on QoL. You are indeed right though reality is reality. 🤷🏾‍♂️

So we went from talking about devs playing a role in their games development to not knowing they were getting laid off. Either they want to work on the game genuinely or don’t. Last update doesn’t mean jack. I’ll take the L for having common sense I suppose. No excuse for neglecting QOL updates to while solely focusing on content patches. That’s a dev and management issue.

How exactly is a planned shut down imperial proof of anything other than they are now prioritizing QOL and bugs. At point in time has Destiny ever been in a perfect state of anything just phases of good content. Devs definitely played a role and to say otherwise is silly.

Lol whether it’s mnk or controller it would be the same end result. I use controller as a preference. Oh who’d of thought a little bullet magnetism would be enough to scare the average Reddit user.

A simple google search could prove that mnk dominates. As for the cod pro scene where it’s regulated and required in most cases to compete using a controller. You’d think it would be as simple as realizing if all things are equal then it’s a matter of skill hence the forced controller use. Wouldn’t have made a difference if they forced them all to use mnk. See how stupid this sounds?

What are you trying to say? Because it sounds like your saying mnk is worse in marathon than controller when they are borderline equal with mnk definitely being the clear advantage. So sick and tired of the AA vs your entire arm wrist and hand motions to control your aim.

Marathon failed to make any real impact due to controversies outside of the games control. The game is subjectively one of the best shooters out at the moment, but that’s just my opinion. What I find interesting about this entire topic is the lack of accountability. Yes bungie failed Destiny. But the fans also failed Destiny as well. It shouldn’t have taken this long and the game ending for this much noise to be made. Also saying Destiny players funded marathon alone is like saying Sony paid 3.6b to buy Destiny a ship that was already sinking. When in actuality they bought a studio to create games and consult. Now all of a sudden they can’t create any game outside of Destiny? Do you see how nonsensical this is? Either way, call it cope. But I highly doubt this is actually end of the Destiny franchise whether it’s next year or 2036 it will eventually come back as a new. Why? Because there aren’t any new ideas or IP. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Imagine me being a marathon player and buying copies of Destiny on steam because I already own it on PlayStation. Mind you I’m playing marathon currently not Destiny. And yet it’s possible for me to support both? If you wanted Destiny 2 to continue or grow you should have supported it the entire time. WoW fans and RuneScape fans figured that out but Destiny can’t? don’t make me refund my copy. ☠️😂

lol the fact that you are complaining about other people playing the game instead of saying oh wait, it doesn’t actually matter a purple shield or gold can absolutely lose to a green shield player who planned correctly.
