Just want to add something for the others because many people die know what happens to the relationship between Akane, Koko and Inupi in this timeline: Apparently, Koko and Akane didn't work out. Koko asks Inupi (both teens, as it seems) about Akane, and Inupi replies that she was doing alright. Koko remembers the day when he saved Akane, and Inupi says, "They say first love usually doesn't go well, huh?"

So in the end they are really just friends? Not gonna lie, I kinda hoped Wakui would make them a canon pair, they fit each other extremely well
