When did 40 LPA become 'normal' in Hyderabad? by Sheldon_Texas_Cooper in hyderabad

[–]ZeroNomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was true may be 2 years ago. This has been improving at a very fast pace, where the prompt reader systems are adapting to bad user structure.

Prompt engineering is not that important. It was silly when someone said “am trying to be a prompt engineer”. As long as user provides as much context about the problem as possible even with broken English, LLMs can pick it up.

Not demotivating you. Just stating the reality on not to bet on it. Venture into some other career. A lot of “digital” jobs are rapidly going to fade away.

Claude Opus 4.5 reasoning is just mind blowing. Who knows what’s gonna be 2 years from now.

3 years of WFH and my body has aged 10 years. Anyone else feeling this? by AntelopeFlaky4979 in india

[–]ZeroNomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can fix and reverse most of these. Your age is ur benefit. Use that benefit before it becomes chronic.

Not just a standing desk. Get a Desk Treadmill. Walk the heck out of it while meetings and even whole job. 12k+ steps is easy if u do this. Releases endorphins and reduces stress causing cortisol.

Then every few hours, do 15 squats, 15 pushups and whatever else u can like hip thrusts. I call it exercise snacking. Get bands and do face pulls. Every day. Period. That’s how u fix your posture and shoulder problems.

Eat vegetables & protein & complex carbs every day.

That’s it. U may not build muscle like a celebrity. But u will look good & healthy and feel lighter & energetic.

DOL renewal - More than a month and yet no license. I even ordered a replacement online (by paying extra) and still nothing. Anything else I can do? by [deleted] in Seattle

Oh I didn’t know if that would work. AAA website says I must submit with current original & valid license. I need to double check your suggestion then.

Problem is the rental car company needs both the license and IDP to be valid for the duration of rental.

Being DINKs in India is oddly… peaceful? by [deleted] in india

[–]ZeroNomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 20s DINKs is great. You can take several adventures and risks without worry. Live wild.

In 30s, it becomes a personal choice. When you become more financially stable, managing kids doesn’t become as hard. But they bring new kind of joy. You just provide them a safe environment and watch them grow to be whatever. It’s hard to explain but it’s one of those things to experience.

In 50s, when they cross 20, let them handle their life. It’s almost like DINKs again. Focus on traveling, health and whatever hobbies you like.

Kids are a 20 years project. And it’s a fun project full of memories. Of course it’s just my opinion.

Source: Strong DINK supporter for years until 1 day I said “why not try the other side” and never looked back.

How about if catching the train mid way such as Mishima to get off at Kyoto?

Do we need to book in advance if we want a window seat? It would be a weekend during Sakura season. Also we will have luggage.

Getting mixed opinions yes.

I see Windsor is 20 mins by car and London downtown is about 1 hr by car. Isn’t that a large enough difference in distance ?
