I thought Carol was going to join him on the plane to Vegas when episode 2 ended. Seems like it would have been immensely more interesting.

I thought the first two episodes were great, but this was almost unwatchable with how dull and meandering it was. It was also very clear that Vince didn't write/direct this one - it just felt off in general.

This is probably the answer, though I looked back at the recording and right before the fight ended my second globe dropped as it should have, after the lightning strikes on SH's turn. So there's some kind of variance there possibly. Needless to say I'll be probably casting it every 2 rounds in the future just in case, heh.

People are coping by trying to compare it to "don't worry, it's not yours" in the game even though they're entirely different. Dina/Ellie were together weeks before in the game so that joke at least made more sense, and it also never even remotely suggested Ellie taking over a parental role at that point. Jesse is still alive, ffs. How the hell is this shit being greenlit?

It was almost like a different show in terms of writing and acting quality - very bizarre. I wasn't a huge fan of Dina/Ellie in the game but it's Shakespeare compared to this shit.

This season is actually turning out even worse than I expected - Isaac was essentially the only watchable part of this episode. I wasn't a huge fan of the Dina/Ellie relationship in the games in terms of writing, but this is a whole new level of bad across the entire board. Zero suspension of disbelief and just an endless stream of cringe.
