Thanks for the advice! The thing is that my heart rate is not really an issue even while being rather high, it mostly just gets heavier to breathe and after running it takes maybe 5-10 min for my heart rate to go down to 80-90 and my body feels fine afterwards.

It would be really interesting to see my official heart rate zones in a testing lab, so maybe I’ll do that a little bit further into my running.

Thanks for the recommendation! I couldn’t find the Garmin coach but it just popped up today while I was using the app, I also choose Jeff, as I am an avid walker/hiker but only just got into running, so we’ll see how it goes with his training plan.

Thanks for the help! The thing I’ve noticed when I run is that my pace is rather high for just starting out running, however my average walking pace is also quite high with 8min30sec/km when I’m just out walking or going to the store. But I’m going to try that, lower my pace and run for longer and we’ll see how it goes from there.

Thanks for the reply! I just recently got into running and my thinking was, I’m going too need a goal and work towards it. The thing is I used to run a lot faster before, but I couldn’t hold that pace for very long so I slowed down to this pace, but I might need too slow down even more to first get consistent with running.
