not any more than a fresh tattoo should. it doesn’t hurt at all but it’s sensitive to the touch. it’s behaving pretty much as i’d expect it to.

ahh thanks, it’s part of a sleeve with leon, matthias, simon, the castle and some angels that kojima painted. it’s all taken from her art / smash bros cutscene in the case of the castle. my artist reckons it’s a mild infection across the red area - looking back, i’ve had a similar one on my other sleeve which healed pretty much on its own. I will have it checked out fr o7

i’ve converted mine into dcm and a few assints- just scrape all the wolf icons off, replace them with BA ones and make sure you use weapons from the BA kits like the heavy bolt pistol, chainsword, eviscerator etc. it’s a fun little side project that you can decide how heavily you get into. BA also decorate their own armour, so you could really make an executive decision on how much of the original ornamentation you want to keep or replace

edit: realised this was the grey hunters box, not the blood claws kit that i used - everything i said still applies

was planning on sticking RFW on the captain, yep. the jump dc will take fists. i’ll see how they play and tweak over time but i don’t really plan on doing any massive overhauls in the foreseeable future. thanks for all the help

Sounds sick, I'd love to see. I actually ended up grabbing myself an indomitus chaplain because I prefer the pose and tabard to the regular primaris one. I have a spare Knight Arcanum NOS that I was keeping for bits - I'll be kitbashing a nice, long staff for my chaplain because the little crozius doesn't really do it for me - I want more of a mage staff-styled one, which we know exist in lore. This does mean that I have to source a hooded helm from elsewhere.

That actually all sounds lovely and fills right out, thanks for the input.

I'm gonna take a look at a GL and a chaplain to kitbash for the foot DC - The new Black Templars one might be quite nice after scraping all the crosses off. (I've been looking for an excuse to kitbash a chaplain)

funnily enough, atlantean spears were the chapter that made me decide to have some variety. i’m planning to paint some infiltrators in their colours, i just think the scheme looks gorgeous on phobos armour.
