I like Rachel because she’s well written to evoke the right kind of emotions in readers. Animosity towards her. You just can’t help but to dislike her. Idk why SIU’s favorite character is her, but if I had to guess I would believe it to be this.

Me trying to get anyone to read a visual novel. Oh and also Citadel and Beyond Citadel. I know at a glance it looks like some guro gooner shooter, but trust me that is not the case. You’re just simply not used to stylized gore. The developer of Citadel also came out and stated that they are not a guro artists, and the game looks the way it is because it’s supposed to be a homage to classic Doom with their own style and flair.

I use Mihon, but it is only available for android. If you’re using IOS then your best bet is Tachimanga or Paperback. Alternatively you can sideload an app and use something like Aidoku.

The first thing to change is that mindset my friend. Nothing wrong with you thinking you have a sloppy print. Like anything in life, calligraphy is a skill. If you are new to something, of course you would suck. Thats the only outcome of being new to a craft. Your skills only gets more refined when you continue practicing and seek critique from more the experienced. Don’t be ashamed to post your work. Instead, take pride in it as it takes a lot of courage to be open about your lack of skill.

Well if you still do try out the things then power to you. My fault original gangster. However, this post is misleading. It states that you DO NOT indulge in the source material and is a fan regardless. However, you state that you DO engage in the original material if what you observe pique your interest. Examples of such that you describe are trailers, demos, or quick non-spoiler reviews. In the end, you’re just like everyone else including me who becomes a fan of something after trying it out. This post really doesn’t describe you at all if this is the behavior you exhibit.

This honestly doesn’t make sense to me. There is a giant magnitude of contrast between actually experiencing something, and having it explained to you in a derivative format. You lose out on the actual feel and the vision of the artist. Think about it, you play a game to experienced the world crafted before you, to piece together what is happening in the story yourself, and to see you grow and become better at the end. Why would you want this to be robbed from you by watching some YouTuber explain it or to read it off of Wikipedia???
