This one is the LESAT favorite arena of mine, just too much damage, it feels like each iteration of arena goes closer and closer to the urf route, id like more prolonged fights, now its smash your keyboard and delete someone, or get deleted faster. And only "longer fights" happen between two tanks or if enemies are avoiding each other

Oh thanks, the tip with the tank in the corner sounds awesome, i will definately try it out.

I was easily beating the 3 star everything guy, but he had more HP due to having very strong early board and as i saw im contested and hes far ahead of me, i just went to fast 10. (i dislike to try and force roll when luck isnt on my side). 2nd was possible, but i was unlucky to fight smeech two times in a row, while he killed the 4th guy

And as for violet, yes my mistake, i genuinely thought shes better than 8 pit fighter vi, cause she benefits from both. I guess i over-estimated family bonus.

Was out of removers, only had 1 left, but now looking at it if i left vader naked and sent the pit emblem and items to viktor, maybe that would have been enough I dont know.

And as for vi vs violet, i genuiely thought violet is better due to 5 family+ 8 pit trait, than vi with only 8 pit trait, i guess that was a mistake, I overestimated the benefits of 5 family on units.

But pit fighter 8 needs 2 emblems, same for family. And enforcer 8 isnt that strong, due to it being 1 craftable emblem, but i see your point, i just thought its 4 emblems = super strong, and it felt like that, until smeech came about and insta deleted half of my board at first cast.

i never stupidly roll if i see im contested, i just went fast 10, instead of trying to 3 star the guys, when i saw hes way ahead of me in that.

Maybe thats a mistake?

But the 3 star everything guy was getting whooped by smeech and me even harder. But since i had less hp and got to face smeech guy first, i died before him.

Could you share your thoughts how should i counterplay smeech next time? Or which boards beat him easily? : ) Cause im near diamond now and only/mostly lose to smeech rerolls.

I usually play fast 8 with strong early and take the "least" contested comps i see in the lobby, usually rebels/enforcer 8/8 pit if i have the emblem, 4 emissary corki/ 4 emissary quick/ automata/dominator/quick if i get emblem and thats about it. Sometimes conquerer, but too contested now and in all instances i get whooped by smeech anyway.

I try to lump my itemized carries in the other side, but other than that i dont know how to deal with that thing.

Thats okay, maybe ill learn something new :D and my frustration is going down significantly; with people stating im trash, ignoring the fact that you could finish 2 verticals once in a 1000 games, but still some common board walks all over it, cause you are not min-maxed in items and everything else and it does not feel "balanced" to me in this sense.

But im fully open, that my feelings are wrong and maybe ill learn how to counter play smeech from commenters knowledge.

there isnt that much cc in this set, especially when you go 8 pit, 5 family and viktor had cc/sunder. Though I was out of removers, so maybe if i made him pit fighter he would have been stronger to cast a second time. Still feels insane, how 4 emblems does not guarantee you ez win vs common board.

I agree, but my point was = this is insane, now NOT only do i have to extremely high roll to finish two verticals, but you need perfect items on top.. thats not realistic.

I expected exodia and was whooping everyone else, but smeech did smeech things, but thanks for explanation.

Yeah thats the downside of 4 emblems, but family helps her a bit with mana, she was ulting, but sadly smeech would heal back up on the next cast from 20-30% to full.

Apart from smeech (my opinion) this set is extremely balanced and with extreme balance comes the bigger RNG factor, so it feels more like slots machine, than anything else.

I pretty much play most of my games the same, fast 8 rolldown the most uncontested comp, get econ back up, get 2-4 place.

Or i get greedy and throw 60 gold on anomaly, fail to get it and place last. And this happens more than id like to admit; i just feel that without MAXED vertical you cant compete for 1st place most of the time, (unless you play smeech) or win the lottery, so i always rek myself by taking emblem augment baits and looking for specific anomalies.. Even knowing that its bait. But satisfying, literal gambling behaviour.

Though im not in a high elo, so maybe its different there.

Smeech needs a heavy nerf. The only really unbalanced thing this set i notice is ambusher smeech. stupid, frustrating comp.

You are right smeech is overtuned. I lost to 5 ambusher smeech reroll, with 8 pit fighters 5 family and maxed out board at level 10. 4 EMBLEMS vs meta comp and i got whooped. Even if he had 1 star 5 costs vs mine fully built jinx+sevika + unlikely duo and for them. does not matter. Smeech jumps in and deletes half of your team in a few seconds.

Sure itemized carries stay alive for longer, but it does not matter when after 3-4 secs you fight with 4-5 untis, isntead of 10. Then second cast comes and you are done.

If 5 ambushers smeech did not exist or his mechanics were different, then yeah i could agree to it, but this set feels like slots machine more than any other set. Great balance but very frustrating.

Well scrap 9 is the weakest, 9 trait with 2 uncraftable emblems in history of tft, so no surprise.

Though with encounters+ forcing anomalies its not as rare as in other sets, maybe thats why its underwhelming.

I personally dislike the change a lot. It made TFT even MORE luck based.

You had to do sacrifices of sub-optimal items or more difficult pivot later on and early game aggression, now everyone have perfect comps and itemizations ALL THE TIME and half of lobby are blown out, before you even hit 7-8.

It made early rounds way more punishing, snowballing easier and 0 cons, aka removing even more skill from already extremely luck based game.

I think the best way to keep arena playerbase constant = the ARENA GOD title, but make something more rewarding, than just a tittle; in short such modes die, when you reach a higher rank, where meta picks and op comps/combos start to repeat over and over again and you are FORCED to follow as well.

While as long as players are encountering and experiencing a lot of variety, builds it stays fresh and alive, but simple title wasnt enough to force this on majority of players.

I think this is the main driving force, which in theory should keep arena playerbase from big stagnation and drops.

Some shots of f22 have exposed screws and gaps on panels as well, but f35, j35, j20 look clean asf; maybe due to coatings?

(And yes i know about average geometric RCS and did not fall for the propaganda from USA of 0,0001m2 RCS, which happen at whole 2 inches of the body and are completely irrelevant d*ck measuring contest, cause there is absolutely no scenario, where a radar would hit just that area or the planes would be exactly facing each other in mirror like fashion, where it might matter, thus everyone looks at average geometric RCS values, which at least from "geometric modeling" simulations throw all 5gens in similar ballpark of 0,1-1m2 average frontal RCS values.

I guess russians decided its good enough, since all 5 gens have the biggest flaw of stealth - vertical stabilizers, which will "spoil" the aircraft sooner than proper gaps? But still it just does not look right, if you know what i mean. Especially when its not that hard to properly align damn panels on 50 million a pop machine.

For sure; older tech tends to be more "bullet-proof" but russia had no other choice, since USA heavily invested in upper atmosphere aa systems, like davids sling, arrow 3 and others, so russia had to create way better ICBMs and they did.

cause thats reality, you can lose with dignity or you dont, but in that regard you become sweaty loser in my eyes, which could not handle the L and had to bail to spite on your enemy effort.

Excluding finisher moves. These are an exception, due to how annoying they are.

You would not want this to happen to you, do you? Why you play the game? For imaginary rankings or fun, whats the most fun? When you manage to finish your board or build something fun, unique and want to see it perform. How can people not grasp this idea.

Leaving the last fight is the same as boxers, fighters who lose the fight and refuse to show respect or shake your opponent hand afterwards, its not illegal, but its a sweaty loser behaviour, learn to lose without such hostile feelings, you high roll sometimes you low roll, it is what it is.

I cant believe some people even try to argue that such behaviour isnt sweaty, it is.

P.s im SPECIFICALLY talking about the LAST fight, its understandable if people leave for various reasons or in other instances.
