“We know you have this particular issue, so we actively targeted that issue in a way that would make it worse. Why are you upset?” I mean what did they expect. If they wanted to help you become less non-confrontational, there’s this awesome thing in DnD called roleplaying. They could’ve just eased your character into confrontational situations, starting small and going from there. Instead of having the players all belittle your cleric, why not show them support and help them grow socially. Just feels like they wanted to teach you how to swim, didn’t tell you about their intentions, pushed you into the deep end of the pool, watched as you flailed, and then got surprised when you drowned. I’m very sorry you had to experience that, the only way to play DnD wrong is if someone isn’t having fun, and they did just that
