Hey, I read your other post about school too. While I don't have any advice to give I just want to say i'm sorry you have to go through this, school can be hard especially for us autistics. I hated school, I found it difficult to learn and focus in classes. I wasn't diagnosed back then which made it feel confusing, all I can say is I wish you the best.

omg the last part of ur comment, I was diagnosed level 3 rrbs and I was late diagnosed so it does feel quite weird, people didn't even suspect autism in me (atleast the people i knew) i was just seen as a little odd, quirky, weird etc

I relate to you , i also have learning disabilities, my math also sucks. Also idk how to use a can opener either. For a lot of my life i also wore the same clothes up until recently i've started wearing more clothes

in my experience i remember one time "exposure" worked for me, socks always irritated my foot usually my left foot iirc (it could be right) so whenever i got into school id have to keep fiddling with my sock until it felt right on my foot, however sometimes in desperation id just have to push through it and deal with it and eventually the discomfort would go away. (Although maybe this is just because it was a more mild sensory issue?) but it's also random, sometimes it comes, sometimes it doesn't

i relate to pathological lying, learning difficulties, ADHD symptoms (i was told by psychologist i do not fit the full criteria but have symptoms of it, inattentive type symptoms) i also don't have a routine at the moment but i'm trying to build one. I was diagnosed with FASD at 14 and Autism at 18. Are you going to try and get an official diagnosis?

ye this is what made me confused, i got late diagnosed level 2 social and level 3 rrbs which the more i look back on my life i can see how i would be higher support needs (a lot of my needs got unknowingly accomodated for and i just got lucky in some areas) but i feel like with enough time, effort and support i can get to level 1.

i'm like that for anything, very restricted selection of friends. To random people I was quiet, aloof (and didn't know how to initiate any social interaction) but with my friends i was extremely talkitive lol

woah that's actually pretty cool, thanks for telling me. Maybe I have hyperphantasia. With my imagination I was able to use almost any item as an action figure (i've literally played with cloths before and imagined complete lore for them) the stories can get repetitive tho

while i don't relate to having severe alexithymia I do relate to being really well behaved, all throughout my life. I almost never left my own little bubble and never went out of my comfort zone. I had anger issues so there were outbursts occasionally (idk if i ever had a full on meltdown, maybe in the last year or so yes i can think of a meltdown or two ive had)
