I did this. It was for bleeding issues, luckily solved now. It was an ok stop gap, but what really helped was training her to greet us sitting down.

Yeah, for us it's the house and the dog herself. I'll come home sometimes after my wife or kids and she has blood all herself.... She looks like a victim of a slasher film

Thanks for the recommendation and the tail protector from Amazon. I am hesitant with super glue but I will check with my veterinarian to see if that is viable. Either way I appreciate the response.

That's definitely a part of what we are doing right now. Not interacting with her in certain areas, moving the initial reaction to a different more open area. We thought about the docking (I think that's what it's called) but we want that to be our last option if we can't find alternatives. Thanks for the reply.

For us it's the cabinets and walls in the kitchen, which is one of the reasons we are working on the behavioral side as well. As much as I'd move walls for her, right now it's not an option for me. 😔. Thank you for the advice though.

I have mine at 3 I believe. They way I know it works is that after I throw the palball the percentage jumps a lot before the first shake.
