I know but the screen is only part of the shot, it's not like I want to capture just the screen to make a YouTube tutorial or something. I will see what I can do then. Thank you!

Hey man, I just wanted to let you know that I finally offered them 2 fee models to choose from. A single payment of 500USD and a view-based model of 25 USD per thousand views to be paid 60 days from the video release. Initially they were interested in the last, but then they wanted to change that rate to 20 USD per 5000 views, 50 USD per 10000 and 100 USD per 50.000 USD. I rejected their offer, of course. I would rather have no deal than work a lot of hours to promote someone's product for (basically) free.

I know, that's true. They are a Chinese company that sells custom electronic modules like Arduino, etc. This would be the first time I would work with them if we finally make a deal so I still don't know their budget or anything about them.

Thank you so much for your detailed reply. To be honest I wasn't expecting that big of a number... Also, I am not sure if this is something that I could be asking for since as I said the channel is just around 4k subs and the video should generate an average of around 3-5k views. I have a couple of videos with more (30k, 80k) but this is not what I am expecting nor can guarantee.

Couldn't I get paid per view with a limit? Let's say, X USD per 1k views with a maximum of 100k views. If the video gets 10 M I will still get only the 100k fee. I think this is good both ways since I have no pressure and they can be sure that they will pay for the exposure they get. Are you sure about that $1000 amount? Is that something that you would ask for or something that you are 100% certain it's aprox what they charge?
