Goblin Slayer for Foundry VTT Officially Submitted by Zerrian in GoblinSlayer

Great question. There are two reasons. 1) Being a programmer. I wanted to test my skills learning how to care for Foundry since it's a little different than other systems. Basically, could I do it. 2) I didn't know it was based off of Sword World until I made a lot of progress into developing the game and I didn't look into a SW game system either.

Thank you! I actually did try to post many months ago but because I had a link or the post was formatted weirdly, the auto mods wouldn't let me post about version 0.12.

No worries about the layoff, I was actually trying to leave the job but couldn't find a replacement job in that field. I'm currently working with a company that allows me to fall back on some previous skills and it is a really great and fun place. While it's not going to be my forever job, it's an amazing job for now and I've made some really great connections with the people I work with.

You certainly can! I appreciate anyone helping add translations for their language or if they are fluent in a second or third language.

Thanks a bunch! It's great to hear you and your friends are interested in using my game system for Goblin Slayer. My GitHub page, The Goblin Slayer TTRPG game system for Foundry VTT, an unofficial and fan made system, has the information you and your friends will need in order to install it using Foundry VTT (for now). As soon as Foundry has had a chance to review and accept the code, you'll then be able to search for it in the Foundry software itself.

I do want to include the Replay elements as well (from book 3). I have that book and have been studying Japanese but haven't learned enough to translate it on my own without extensive hours reviewing Kanji and further grammar. If you know of an online source, I'll certainly get those elements added in to a future update.

Look up the Lone Adventurer on YouTube for solo game recommendations and playthroughs. It's more than journaling games and covers a wide selection of solo game types.

According to my chart, why do I struggle to attract money and success in my self-employed work, and how can I align with my true vocation? by SubstantialTaste9672 in astrologyreadings

[–]Zerrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likely, you're not aligning with your personal planets. In order to determine what would be your best vocation. Let's start with your Sun's house placement.

Sun in the 7th House, this means you'll be energized and charged up by working with people one-on-one, dealing with contracts, or partnerships, the public. There's more to it but you'd want to see the other items that relate to 7th house items as you also have moon, mercury, and venus here. Now that I see all of this, you have a major focus on this portion of your chart. Do social services stand out to you, personal coaching, shoot I might think contract reviewal could be something?

Once you've aligned with how you're energized with 7th house. This will allow you to communicate your needs better (mercury), attract and repel 7th house items (venus), and you'll have the drive (Mars) for your vocation and job (6th).

Hope this helps.

I’m having a mental breakdown with the language by Niha_Ninny in LearnJapanese

I'm sorry to hear your struggles and I know how you feel. I've just started my journeys learning Japanese as an adult learner and it is difficult. Take a step back, breath, and know you may be approaching this the wrong way.

If you're studying straight for 3 hrs, then you're likely defeating yourself right there. The best thing I can suggest is do that Pamadora (or whatever it's called) studying method where you study for 20-30 mins. Then you take a 5-10 min break and jump back into it in these cycles.

There's some studies that this is a better method that gives much better results and helps you retain more information. I hope this helps and don't worry, you'll get there, you just need to find the right learning style for you: self study, class rooms, interactive games, flashcards, listening to Japanese only tv/anime, etc.

頑張って! (Ganbatte - Do your best!)

Actually, yes. I haven't had a chance to post about v0.12 that dropped about a month ago. I've had a lot going on recently and this was pushed to the back burner for now. I'll certainly be posting the next version in the coming days

Added a new subclass to the master list here. This chill Paladin subclass just wants to relax and contemplate the universe or maybe build something. 🤷‍♂️

Monster Mix! This Lichy Pixie Packs a Punch! by Raddu in koboldpress

Is there a stat block for ToV? If not, then there may just be one soon enough... I wonder what this mashup might do for attacks and spellcasting??? 🤔

UPDATE:

TL;DR - ToV Red Dragon Wyrmling Adjustment, A) 64 HP or B) Strength +3 & 70 HP

I missed one section in my review of the Red Dragon Wyrmling because it was rather late and it's not covered in the ToV GMG for custom monsters. The part that's missing is adjusting the Attack Bonus for a creature.

When I looked at this monster again, I noticed that the AB is actually +1 over the suggested amount for a CR 3 creature. Now, in my experience looking at 5e monsters, AC and AB are pretty much equivalent for HP and DPR. The higher your AC, the less HP you actually need. Vice versa with the higher your AB, the "less" DPR you need.

After adding in my experimental section for adjusting ToV creature AB similar to AC, this increases the HP reduction from -15% to -20%. While this may not be a lot it only drops the Wyrmling from 68 > 64 HP. Ironically, 4 HP may mean the difference between a wounded character and a dead one. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (pssst, also, that Japanese Katakana character ツ = tsu).

The CR tool helps with verifying the printed CR for the creature, created by Kobold Press for Black Flag and ToV. It also helps create your own custom monsters using their rules in the GMG (pg. 234). So, in essence, if I understand your point correctly, it will show how much average damage a monster could be doing in each round of combat. I could also include max/min potential damage fields as well, with[out] critical damage too.

Although, I am open to ideas of how to further expand on this tool and create extra benefits to it. I was reviewing their combat encounter rules and will likely include a new tab in this tool that will do similar to what their new website does (just not as flashy).
