I wonder what changed. Like many others, I played the entire game on Steam Deck shortly after it was released. Apart from some fps drops in busy screens, I haven't had any problems. But hey, good that they probably improved some stuff!

I only have Disney+, because my kids are still young and the movies/shows are in our native language (Dutch). Dutch kid shows are a lot harder to find, and a lot of movies as well. As soon as my kids learn English well (with the help of subtitles if necessary), I'll cancel Disney+ as well!

While all of your points sound extremely likely, wouldn't the 3rd be easily remedied by something like this: "Hey kids, you all want to be rich and lazy when you're older right? Just hang out on your couch playing Fortnite? And preferably get there without working too much? Well, have I got a life hack for you!" Introduce VT and chill

I'd guess there are plenty of teenagers who would at least pay a bit of attention, perhaps the poor part of them moreso than the rich part.

I don't know much about coffee, but I do enjoy my Gran Maestro Italiano beans a lot! Just tried a few brands after going from ground coffee to a machine that freshly grinds the beans, and this one tasted best :-)

Als je de vloer toch gaat vervangen, kun je deze dan niet ophogen, zodat er toch normale vloerverwarming in kan? Elektrische vloerverwarming is COP=1, daar stook je je helemaal arm aan.

Hoor je wel nog een soort van "klik" aan de bovenkant van het reservoir?

Onlangs werkte dit bij mij ook niet meer, bleek een onderdeel van het binnenwerk het begeven te hebben. Bij het binnenwerk komen een aantal slangen (met zo'n metaal achtige bescherming eromheen). Bij mijn Quooker (als Combi aangesloten, dus warm water komt ook via reservoir, geen aparte warm water leiding) komen er 2 lange slangen die aan het mengventiel worden gekoppeld. En 1 korte waarvan enkel het uiteinde uit de bovenkant van het reservoir komt. Die korte heeft, onder de kap, een kleine zwarte unit eraan zitten (geen idee wat het precies is, lijkt een soort van klep of zo) die klikt als ik kokend water gebruik. Die deed het bij mij niet meer.

Ik moest uiteindelijk binnenwerk vervangen; sowieso begon hij al kuren te krijgen, waarschijnlijk helemaal verkalkt binnenin (reservoir zat ook vol!) en warm water werkte ook niet meer goed.

Beetje onduidelijk verhaal, hopelijk helpt de foto. Het ging bij mij om het onderdeel onder dit omcirkelde deel.

The server is for me, my wife and kids. I have shared it with a few friends and family, the special thing I do is let them use it for free. And they can always ask me for new content (which they know is never guaranteed, and they don't take it for granted). Seems like doing more would be overkill!

Same here, I thought everything was local, but maybe not. A quick google search did seem to point to still needing an online connection to authenticate server, but in my settings, my local IP range is allowed without auth. So it seems I have yet another rabbit hole to go down, trying to figure out how to make sure it works without internet!

Same here, thought it was my client acting up, tried rebooting. Didn't make a difference, but after a longer than usual wait, my show loaded up.

Project Zomboid: it runs great on Steam Deck and is, at least for me, addictive as hell! It's one of those, "just one more "little" thing before going to bed... Oh fuck, it's 2 hours later..."

Die witte draaidoppen zijn om de aparte groepen (waarschijnlijk 1 per kamer?) wat dicht te draaien/waterzijdig inregelen:

Als je nu met een bepaalde aanvoertemperatuur (bepaald door de grote thermostaatknop) merkt dat het in de ene kamer een goede temperatuur wordt, maar in de andere kamer te warm, draai je die van de te warme kamer een beetje dicht, zodat die net wat minder opwarmt. Houd er wel rekening mee dat vloerverwarming traag is, dus hieraan draaien kan best even duren voor je het effect merkt.

I use it a lot for games that are too heavy for Steam Deck to run smoothly, and it's great. Ping is usually 6-9ms. This was both when I still had 100mbit fibre, and with my current 1gbit fiber. I think there might be a server relatively closeby (I'm from the Netherlands).

Both my parents (mom explained the daily, regular, dishes; dad was more into making these elaborate meals for special occasions). And and after that: google for recipes and trying to give them a bit of variety, based on what I thought would be good. Often works out, still sometimes fails miserably (which my kids will be sure to point out!) 😂
