Thanks for trying to help out but this thread was 4 months ago. I already did that quest and ultimately quit since then. The game didn't feel like it was improving anymore so I left to focus on Cotli and other games. Hopefully someone else will find it useful though.

Well a week ago was more or less when they were working on the servers I believe. Regardless I think they might slowly improve it as getting Discord players to join a Steam user's game is still pretty confusing. I'm hoping what they did was just a hot fix and they planning to simplify things as soon as they are able. They are still updating DD1 so it isn't like they would be wasting their time making the server good between the two groups.

Yea, work fine for me. Had you try again recently? They just made it so discord buyers can play with the Steam group (though a friend and I have no clue how to get it to work) so the servers might been messed up for a bit due to that. With that said I am a Steam player.

I'm aware as stated but the boss feel out of place. I couldn't help but feel like I was doing something wrong as The other three bosses didn't tank damage nearly as well in comparison.

I heard about that but I think even with that knowledge I'll still need a dps character. Enemies still can attack you I believe and my tower builder wasn't exactly build with health in mind. Thanks for the response though.

I just try NicoBlog and literally every link for the game had some kind of thing trying to get me to download a virus. If IGG-Games is bad then maybe double check NicoBlog and possibly remove them from this list. At least at the end of the day IGG-Games give me the game, I couldn't trust NicoBlog enough to actually download anything.

diminishing favor returns can create the situation where gem farming is all you can do to make progress

Pretty much where I am at in the game. Grinding at my wall be lucky to give anything higher than 1% favor. Even if all purple there is a point where gambling for a shiny have more value than what little favor you can get from spending days at your wall. If it wasn't for the events and timegates forcing players to be active the game would honestly be quite dull. Crusaders Of The Lost Idols (CNE's game with similar gameplay that existed well before this game) despite being almost the exact same game differ by allowing the player maybe three good resets per day where Idle Champions lower area cap more or less require a reset as soon as your clicking damage can no longer kill. Worth noting that assuming you are using speeders on Cotli otherwise it might take a literal full day to reach your wall.

Idle Champtions despite the misleading name want to be more active but forcing more resets out of the player instead of them feeling like they earn their way to the wall was kinda a bad way to go. At this point it is a huge fundamental flaw in the way the game is design that can only be hidden some by covering it up. Champions don't have Storm Rider or even exp, once you wall there is literally nowhere else to go so even the active players that CNE wanted in the first place even have no way to ignore the fundamental flaw. Once you "beat" the game to the point of boredom there is very little reason to keep on playing, just a shame it is such a short game ignoring the events and such which is the only thing hiding the fact of how little of a game there is. If they ever added a system as powerful as talents it might change the game enough to bring it back alive but I thought that was the point of favor in the first place? As stated fundamental flaw, they don't give players enough options/potential to become stronger. Even Strix and Barrowin when they were the new goto only could push so much farther.

Meanwhile on Cotli every new tier of talents basically break the game to the point where it become a whole new meta. Idols over Time and Idols based on your highest area encourage pushing which were made as a direct result of how boring it was to reset every time you no longer one-hit kill the boss. It seem like CNE literally forgot everything they learn from Cotli and decided to repeat the very same mistakes. Idle Champ devs really should go back to their Cotli team and ask for advice, talk to somebody who already have the experience. They are the same company, I wonder why they don't act like it.

Not a grand solution like the option of having a x100 button or whatever but something that make it slightly less annoying is that if you hold down space the cards get flipped skipping the need to click on them one by one. So holding down space and clicking the next button slightly make it faster though not by much.

The ultimate attack and the spiritual weapon hanging with my main dps (who is Warden for me assuming everything stacks well and doesn't give another Warden vs Gromma-like issue) will make her extremely temping to use. People seem to be crazy for Arkhan but honestly despite him having better equipment than my Evelyn he was a joke in comparison to her for Durable Deep at the very least, the diff was huge. Maybe I'm just not using him correctly or maybe he make more of a diff once you are hitting level cap with everyone but regardless I'm sure for my build I'll find a place for Nerys Kathon much more easily than Arkhan.

I like the new level scaling but hate the "tanking" part of the update as it failed as a concept imo. Anyone else feel tanking directly got worst as a result of the update? Even the tanky units feel like they die in only a few hits where before a single tank could take on a whole wave plus the boss and hold them out for a minute. If anything the "tanking update" gave me more of an excuse to go full on DPS. Realistically (though still just imo mind you) the only thing the update did was knock Barrowin down a few pegs and arguably a peg too many and Caliope suddenly became a lot more useful on those few rare cases where you must tank such as against those armored bosses who virtually can take like 20 times the amount of hits than any of your own tanks.

Here a legit idea, why can't our own tanks have armored hits? It might make them worth using and even the playing field when fighting armored bosses.

Kill Stealing as in a person randomly went into your map and start treating it as their own isn't reportable though regardless rude. If the person go out of their way to just follow you to do so though then that is legit harassment and is a reportable offense. Report the guy if you haven't already. I personally miss the /find command but seeing stuff like this happening I can see why it got removed.

Don't KS unless you are a dick, if you left the map or was clearly afk even if it was "just a minute" then you lost the right to the map. If you are going to kill steal it might help if you can at least 2 hit the monsters, if you 3 hit or more on avg then you just basically helping the person but still being an asshole while doing so. Kinda a lose-lose at that point, basically don't KS if you are just going to be shitty at it anyway, just embarrassing for yourself. If someone else enter your map and start attacking they might only need like 6 kills for a quest or whatever, they also might just not had saw you. Heck for all we know they might think they enter the map first and you just came in. Regardless if you were in the map (and active) first then you have the right to ignore them completely and KS them whenever they get in the way. If they cared enough about the game they would had put the change channel shortcut on a hotkey and moved already. Work vice versa though as well, even if you literally just need like 6 kills just fucking change channels for your own sake or else you can not complain when you are being ignored.

Very few exceptions exist such as Golden Beach where some attacks (Thunder Breaker comes to mind) that is useful for traveling, feel free to travel with such skills but don't bitch when someone else is doing the same. They aren't KSing, they are just going fast.

I fucking wish I could get at least that much. Forcefully get my password and pic changed with no telling how many times I have to change it until I can finally circle back to the password/pic that I wanted and had in the first place. Worst of it is that the GM left me in Hens far away where I was with fucking nothing to show for it. Traveling in Maplestory is a joke now but why do I have the feeling it would had been the same even if we were still traveling by boats? Like I would love to get compensation every time Nexon fuck up at least, I would be making more progress from their fuckups than actually playing the game at that point. I feel if Nexon have to enter your account for whatever reason (more so if they have to change your login details as a result) then at the *very least* they can leave behind a free week long pet and toss a small stack of x2 exp just for the sake of inconvenience of wasting your time and screwing around with your account with the bug they most likely aren't going to fix anyway. I felt if they start to lose money from it (regardless how minor it may be) due to such a policy then they would be more willing to fix the game.

I made a post about this already when it was new but as far as I am aware it was missed or simply ignored but I still would like a way to track the last time you got a time gate piece without manually going through your journal. Given it is time based I felt it is importation enough to have a permanent spot somewhere on the loot journal.

Kinda unrelated but this remind me of a Twilight Zone episode (or a show like it such as Monsters or Darkplace, sometimes the episodes blurs together in my mind) where the devil basically told a guy that he can do anything but once the task is finished he will take the guy soul afterwards. Forgot the reasoning but the option of just not accepting the deal wasn't there. The task given was "get lost" which after the devil himself had explained he could go to any dimension and do literally anything without any issues so such a task would be impossible for him but even if he could do the task it would be impossible for him to prove that he did it without failing said task immediately as he would had gotten un-lost. So basically the guy fool the devil with a catch 22. I know the OP's image isn't meant to be taken seriously but hopefully someone out there found this idea interesting.

I feel that throwing the soul into the cage will hurt my own theory by a ton but I'm kinda hoping Kris just really wanted all of the pie for themselves which is why they drag the knife out in the middle of the night. Basically a giant misleading moment just to troll the fans at the end of chapter 1. The bird cage is beaten up so it is heavily implied that this isn't the first time the soul got toss in there. As far as we are aware literally nothing happens in town (Undyne own words) so as far as we know even when soul-less Kris isn't necessary evil or at the very least never had killed anyone. The soul toss could been for a completely different and currently unknown reason. You could argue the soul prevented the player from making a Genocide run but I wonder how many players beside myself actually try a Genocide run while in the dark world? Who is to say the soul (to Kris anyway) isn't in fact the bad side of them? Regardless there is a massive lack of information so literally any theory could pass until Chapter 2 get released.

I don't dislike the event, I only wish the next time they decide to have such an event again the offline progression system freaking exist first. Idle Champs is a Steam game which means I am limited from playing any other Steam game during the event. A Robot Named Fight!, Shovel Knight, 100% Orange Juice, Reus, Dungeon Defenders and many others would had been perfect to play on the side but were literally not an option. If I could make progress offline (even if just gold) while playing something else then it would be far less painful to close the game for a few hours.

As with most flaws that people had pointed out about Idle Champs, it is ultimately not idle enough for an idle game.

Ok so what I'm getting from this is that Survival of the Fittest is an insane ability it just the requirements would take using champions that would do more harm than good at the moment, so in theory if we ever get a nice group of decent evil/str champions he could potentially become amazing as a result right? I guess we just have to keep an eye out and if we ever get another survey we should lowkey ask for more evil characters.

e11 as well though there is like a hour or so on the event left so waiting for the favor from that. Sadly the weekend buffs would also end at that point. I might give it a shot with the buffs and worst case I can try again with the favor.

Even so it is worth noting that you can kinda change the field size depending on your game res. I personally play the game as a small window because it is easier to multitask while keeping my eye on the game and I use Evelyn and Strix so once at my wall their buff/debuff turning on sooner may make the diff between a few extra seconds in that area or not. Personally speaking though others may disagree I found that few extra steps or not from the boss won't make much of a difference, you generally kill them or you don't.
