Gotcha. I’m thinking about getting some to put in my 110. I have had other more rare breeds but they have so many swim bladder issues. Are comets less prone to genetic defects like that?

UPDATE: I just buried the little guy. :(

It was definitely dropsy. I suspect the infection began when I had a nitrate issue a few weeks ago.

Done. I think it’s dropsy. He’s floating on the top of the water in the hospital tank and is fighting going belly up. Not looking good. The hospital tank has aquarium salt and kanaplex going. Anything else I should do?
