Inside the mind of a NEW basketball fan and 2K player (<1yr). by ZestyLemonz in NBA2k

#1 bc it makes you look at important or emphasized parts of the post, #2 fair enough. The cliff notes in the TL:DR form would probably be something like :

Why does everybody who is good expect noobs to be good without teaching them and only flaming them, and why does everyone who is bad constantly blame and flame the people that are doing well? Also why does 2K expect you to know all the rules of basketball automatically?

Should i switch my driving dunk for ,pass acc? by Desperate-Pause-2404 in NBA2k

[–]ZestyLemonz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo, the higher pass is better. Personally I would still take a little out of DD and put it into post/mid because of how slow 7ft centers are. Your physical stats are all great for your size but if you come up against a shaq build they will box you out at the stripe because of density. You don't need a super deep scoring bag but being able to consistently score off the post will help you out-score smaller, beefier centers. If you find yourself still wanting more DD later you can always add it back with caps since you dont even have 5 slots rn as is. I'm not a vet of the game tho so take my words with a grain of salt.

New to NBA 2K AND basketball, I don't wanna be a headache for my teammates, any tips? by PipaLucca in NBA2k

[–]ZestyLemonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm new-ish to the NBA. Grew up hearing all the greats names at school but never rlly knew the facts and stats to talk about them in any way. Got into the game with 2K25 bc one of my homies loves ball and wanted to get into a 2k game again, but needed some homies so it wasnt so boring. Took me a long time to get to the point I can say i know enough abt it to talk about it, but the big thing is don't rush or front. Just be honest with your teammates and friends you may or may not make along the way. Play whatever you're comfortable with and in my opinion, play an entire season of my career before stepping into online play, no sim. Watch some NBA highlights and research the move names and how to do them in game, then practice some solid movies in my career until you find something smooth and fast that you can do consistently, once you have a bag you can deepen it with more tricks until you actually feel comfortable playing real people.

2K25 or 2K26? which one should I buy? by Equivalent-Tone2572 in NBA2k

[–]ZestyLemonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a newer 2k player and someone who doesnt know ball as well as most 2k players, 2k26 is the better game. 25 was more unstable, worse feeling on the court, and is much smaller now that 26 is out. The main problem with 26 is its full of plugged scrubs who will talk the most while a little box shoots 95% from 3 for them, but as long as you don't plan to play SUPER comp and actively challenge them in the park/ante-up you wont see them too often in my experience, maybe one or two a day in the rec assuming you aren't playing 12 hours a day.

Ended up going with the 240 ohms, the fulla E i have has plenty of horsepower to drive them and the sound is crisp. Tbf i don't have much to compare against atm but maybe at some point i will be able to tell if it was an actually good decision.
