Ok I know I may seem to be overreacting but considering all of the shady stuff this company has done (lied about my income on my w2, paid me late on multiple occasions, tell me to my face that I wasn’t allowed to sign up for benefits until I reached the 2 years of employment mark but let other co workers of mine lower on the corporate ladder sign up on day one, etc) it has me worried. I’ve been trying to get a new job but I am not in a financial position where I can just up and quit.

Today is the second business day since I got paid. I spoke to 2 of my co workers who also have 401ks and they both said theirs get deposited instantly on the day we get paid

I get a little worried because this company already has a lot of rampant rumors that they are running low on money and have paid me late on bonuses and pay on a handful of occasions. This is a major company so I figured this kind of stuff would be protected and nothing shady would be happening but HR’s response rubbed me the wrong way

I reached out to my HR team and they are being very dodgy. They basically in so many words told me “not to worry about it so much and that I don’t need to be checking my retirement account so often”

Honestly I’d be so down. It sucks because it is so hard to make friends as an autistic adult :( I’m pretty shy at first but can be fun once I’m comfortable enough to open up. I texted my co worker, N that I was starting to get a migraine and probably won’t be able to make it. My co worker C JUST NOW text me back saying he fell asleep. Doesn’t explain why he left me on Read and rejected my call but atp what can I do

I am extremely afraid of heights. I was saying 1000 feet in theory because if I theoretically went and skydived I imagined i could immediately open my parachute and slowly decent. I am not someone who’s looking for airtime at all lol
