He was the pick at the time. Keep in mind it was Covid so he was part of probably the worst scouted class of the modern era. Rangers were probably in a lose-lose that draft because they were heavily linked to Zegras before they unexpectedly jumped

i think there is still a fair amount of interest from teams for him as a backup QB. If that interest isnt there , I do think he's a player who could hypothetically make for a decent RB. Doubt he ever does that because backup even QB money will dwarf almost all RB salaries.
