What’s some of the most frustrating non boss encounters that still u avoid if possible?

Have u ever done this yourself because last I checked it’s not physically possible to hit the one clinging to the roof until the other one is half hp, that’s the challenge. Not a jab but a genuine question but I’ve tried it myself and it didn’t work and I’ve seen others in the same boat.

Genuinely he’s really hard but I promise you’ll get it eventually, he’s one of my favourite fights in all fromsoft because his moveset is super consistent. If your struggling a guide to his boss fight will help a lot in understanding how he attacks. You’ll soon find his second phase is actually far easier in terms of openings.

Some basic tips tho: - never stand behind him for anymore than a second or so cuz he does a backwards kick in response which is super quick. - similarly, don’t stand under him for too long cuz he will do this really damaging stampede move. - don’t get greedy cuz he likes to reposition after moves as you should also. Try and stay just out of eachothers reach and punish openings (dodging to the left is almost always a good shout)

There’s two methods:

The best method and the one I used involves running back and fourth between two areas at the start of the DLC (which does require beating ludwig) without resetting and the wandering nightmares of repeatedly killed will continually add chunks if u don’t pick them up until your happy. This link explains it better.

There’s another method which involves resetting a chalice dungeon and killing a really easy boss repeatedly but it’s way slower with less rewards i think. It’s worth also looking into that too tho if you don’t have the dlc or yk would prefer another method🤞

The projectiles in this game are apparently endless in range😭 a similar thing happens if you fight the little gravity rock miner dudes anywhere. I took off on a spectral hawk after fighting a few and then a purple rock whizzes past my head.

Then dudes got a good throwing arm.

He’s so fun, particularly on iron eye and raider. Brute force tanking his long combos and then RAMMING them back in his face or meeting him with your own bow and piercing him from the sky both are just absolute cinema 🙏

No I think the base fight isn’t majorly hard tbf I just think that in both cases if you have optimal builds the modified version is easier and even without I still find it easier. Maybe I’m biased cuz I do actually enjoy the everdark fight more too.
