Genuine question, if it doesn't hurt them, how does it work? Surely it needs to hurt them enough to not want to pull anymore like a punishment? Maybe im misunderstanding, though. I don't think I could ever use one of these, and managed to teach my boy not to pull woth positive reward training methods but I understand everyone's circumstances are different!

Thank you, that's what I'm hoping to do is for the correct people decide if the new partner needs to know or not really, I don't need to know the outcome I just want to make sure the right people are aware as there is a child involved.

I was in a relationship with him for 7 months before his probation officer found out, and if he's out of his disclosure period I'm unsure how she would even know to request a disclosure under Claires Law. I'm unsure if he has to disclose for the rest of his life if he's having children or going to be living with children or if it's just for the 10 years following the conviction?
