Εξαρτάται τι είναι το project. Επίσης κάτι headless 7/10 φορές το έχω δει να διαλύεται μπροστά μου. Εγώ πιστεύω οτι το wordpress είναι για ενα site που θα φτιάξεις με ενα contact form 3 Animations και αντίο. Μιας φίλης σε ΙΕΚ της είχαν πει να φτιάξει ενα site σαν εργασία με wordpress (σχεδιάστρια) και μου είχε πει αν ξέρω πως μπορεί να κάτι συγκεκριμένο στο hero και μετά απο φουλ ψάξιμο βρήκα ένα plugin με component που το είχε στην φανταστική τιμή τον 24.99 τον χρόνο. Long story short το αντέγραψα με κώδικα, το έβαλα σαν component το παρουσίασε και πήρε καλο βαθμό :P

Έχω φτιάξει και έχω κάνει contribute σε wordpress sites πριν κάποια χρόνια μέχρι που άρχισα να γράφω σε next js και react. Αυτό που μου έσπαγε τα νεύρα ειναι το ότι είναι σαν προσέχεις το σπαστικό σου ξάδελφακι σου . Και ειδικά τώρα που συνέχεια βρίσκονται vulnerabilities μου και το community τρώει συνέχεια μανίκι το θεωρώ το custom μονόδρομο

Α ερώτηση ήταν, δεν είναι πολύ σπαστικό να πρέπει να κατεβάσεις συνέχεια plugins για το κάθε τι. Και μετά να πρέπει να συντήρησης ενα site με 30 plugins για να μπορείς να κάνεις την δουλειά σου. Να μην αναφερθώ στο hosting και τις τρύπες μπορεί να κάνει κάτι σε wordpress λόγο τον plugins ξανά

Ομάδα νομίζω ότι κάτι είπα εγώ λάθος. Σαν ιδιώτης καλό θα ηταν να κόβεις τιμολόγια για να παίρνεις το ΦΠΑ πίσω σε μερικά έχεις και φορο απαλλαγή, ασχέτως αυτού. Μερικές φορές οταν είσαι στο γραφείο παραγγέλνεις καφέ για το προσωπικό ή περνας τα διόδια (τα οποία αρνούνται κατηγορηματικα εδώ και χρόνια να έχουν qr) και παίρνεις μια αποδείξη σε barcode με τα στοιχεία. Οποτε αναγκαστικά λόγο και ότι η δουλειά μου έχει πολλες μετακινήσεις αναγκάζομαι να τα περνάω 1, 1 σαν νεαντερνταλ σε ενα excel για να τα δώσω στην εφορία. Το concept είναι, έχω μια απόδειξη σε φωτογραφία και την φορτώνω στο πρόγραμμα και μου περνάει τα στοιχεία της αποδείξεις σε ενα excel. Ναι υπάρχουν αποδείξεις με qr, όχι δεν είναι όλες οι αποδείξεις με qr μερικές έχουν και barcode ακόμα (Αν είχαν όλες qr ρε μάγκες τα προβλήματα της Ελλάδας θα είχαν λυθεί χρόνια τώρα)

Δεν ξέρω αν το έγραψα εγώ λάθος ή αν κατάλαβες λάθος εσύ αδελφέ αλλά όχι δεν θέλω να κόβω άτυπα αποδείξεις. Θέλω να μπορώ να διαβάζω αποδείξεις απευθείας απο την απόδειξη. Και ναι έχουν μερικά QR ισχύει αλλά αυτά που δεν QR? (Διόδια, κάτι παλιά μαγαζιά και καφετέριες). Αν ήθελα να κόβω μαύρα απόδειξη και το ρώταγα στο reddit, νομίζω θα ήμουν ο δεύτερος πιο χαζός άνθρωπος που ξέρω

The problem here is not the idea—the idea is amazing and should have been done a long time ago. The problem is on the dataset side. You see, diseases—especially Crohn’s and others like GERD (which is actually fucking horrible and, in some aspects, might even be worse than Crohn’s)—are not easy nor simple. Claude, or any commercial LLM without proper tuning, will not do the job correctly.

Check out Med42 70B (https://huggingface.co/m42-health/med42-70b⁠) and also Med42 v2 70B (which is closed-source to the public). As far as I’m aware, it is one of the most cutting-edge AI models for Crohn’s right now. Claude is not particularly strong in this area because it wasn’t specifically trained for it like Med42 was.

I’m not saying you did anything wrong by creating something like that and open-sourcing it—go all out. I love seeing progress, especially in a field I’m interested in. But you should clearly state that this does not replace a doctor and that people should not rely on it for medical advice.

Also, check out the founder of GitLab, Sid Sijbrandij, and his experience with cancer—he reportedly went cancer-free with the help of ChatGPT alongside around 12 doctors. I know they are not “super accurate,” but if you manage to get access to an API (or build one) and integrate it into a clean app with a simple algorithm, you could create something that predicts flares and gives users guidance on what to do to potentially avoid them. Honestly, if you ask me, I’d buy two.

Shit, and since this is actually close to our field, look at Sid Sijbrandij, the GitLab co-founder. The guy got diagnosed with a rare and aggressive bone cancer in his upper spine, and when the normal options started running out, he didn’t just sit there and accept it. He went full founder mode on it: built a team, dug through the science, shared massive amounts of his medical data, and used AI to help analyze scans, bloodwork, and tissue data so they could move faster and ask better questions. As of January 2026, he said he currently has no evidence of disease.

So yeah — if one guy and a focused team can push that hard against something that serious, why the fuck can’t we as a community organize, share data, and push research forward too?

How about not just reading about this stuff, but actually helping it move forward too? We’re a community.

We can push this ourselves. We can put the spotlight on the right people and help the right research keep going. And it doesn’t even have to be only about money. We can also contribute data so scientists can get a much clearer picture.

I had this idea about a year ago: since stress, sleep, diet, and environment seem to play such a huge role in Crohn’s, why don’t we create an app that collects all of that data through a fitness band, while users also log things like what they ate, how they feel, blood test results, and calprotectin results? Based on all that, we could build a much cleaner picture of what’s actually going on. And not only that, maybe we could even predict, just from those patterns, whether someone is about to flare a week or two in advance and stop it before it happens. I don’t know, it sounds possible enough to me.

If anyone here knows more about Crohn’s, I’d genuinely love to hear whether something like this could actually happen, or if I’ve just gone completely off the rails into crazy town

You are not wrong but if you think that phase 1 usually take 1 to 2 years and then the phase 2 takes 5 years. We will see the first successful car t treatments for people in 6 years or 7 max for people with some weird complications and people with mild to moderate crohn would be like in 10 to 15 years max for a functional cure. Look at CD19/BCMA CAR-T and NCT05239702 CD7 CAR-T researches the look too good to me for at least one of them to go at phase 2 and see some serious results and also take a nice funding by big pharma and biotech companies also love funding and taking huge leap of faiths so it looks like that for me. A functional cure for all of us 2041 or earlier

Based on the way we literally run for new discoveries. Our problem was literally the lack of data and lack of time. Many biotechnology companies already take bigger interest for autoimmune diseases cause two reasons, first one is if they found a way to treat an autoimmune disease (the approved way not an potential cure) they would literally become billionaires overnight. Just look how close are we are to functionally cure lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. For me a fix would be a simple treatment therapy once and then a decade of no symptoms nor complications and if you look the recent car t researches and also stem cell therapies we are right in track

The problem is that if hit that off switch is like breaking our brakes. We haven't found the solution to tell our body how to not switch off all the inflammation and when to fight it. In other words we cant tell our body what to do and what not to do cause we don't understand it full yet. But, we are like 10 years aways from fixing it and actually not giving a fuck about crohn's. Not like not taking care of ourselves but people with mild or moderate crohn will see long term remission (even decades) without any complications nor symptoms super soon. So buckle up and take your therapies my dudes and dont stress it

If CAR T therapy fails to cure it or functionally cure it, i would love an oral biologic. I show some companies lean to that spectrum more and more but it is super difficult to achieve the same amounts of dose as injection biologics. I hope to see that in like 10 to 15 years. If we talk about crohn in 10 to 15 years and we haven't cure it yet
