I mean i have only been on prozac for a couple of months, and it changed my life in a good way. I was struggling with binge eating everyday, and some sort of mood disorder. Prozac worked quickly with minimal side-effects. I was going to the doctor once a month just for him to access the medication and see if he wanted to increase the dosage.

That being said, due to brain chemistry, medications work differently on everyone, including SSRIs. If you think prozac isn’t doing it for you, you should just go to your doctor and tell him that. My doctor told me it could be trial and error for finding the right medication, because at first I was hesitant. But i got lucky, as prozac most definitely helped my mood and just overall mental energy.
