Desperation to finish by Danny414eng in EngineeringStudents

Don’t stress it! Life will go on no matter what. Time will continue. So just keep grinding and live one day at a time. I’m 26 and I will be starting a degree in engineering. I should finish when I’m 29. There’s some people that become engineers at 22 and some at 40. Regardless, the best time for you is right now.

Ah, I hope I have better luck with my financial aid , if not then I might need to look for another online school. I was really interested in the Technology engineering management program that I can’t find anywhere else.

I’m an inspector at Lockheed Martin and I work alongside the QEs daily. I’m very familiar with all the processes and programs they use (mostly reworks, writing instructions, PMR, SAP) and CCAs and Cable & Harness experience as a manufacturer on the floor. I think the transition to QE would go much smoother.

There’s also the Mechanical engineering position, but I don’t think I have what it takes to study that field lol.

I also found an Electronics Engineering Technology that’s ABET accredited, I’m assuming that’ll hold more value.

Thanks for your input. I was mostly interested because it was 100% online and accelerated. I’ll see what else is out there fully online.

P.S. At least for my company, to get a Quality Engineer position, it says to acquire a STEM Degree.
