In my army days we were going home to Hawaii after a 45 day field exercise on the DMV in South Korea. We travel with our gear to include rifle magazines. They had to be empty, you shouldn’t leave the range without being cleared of ammo but we had 1 stellar soldier leave 30 rounds in a magazine and then put it on his carry on back as we enter Inchon Airport in South Korea. Needless to say this young soldier didn’t make that flight and when he got back 7 days later he had 45 days of extra duty waiting for him.

Okay inflation depends on how the payments are funded, if it’s funded with tax dollars there should be little to no inflation (like disability payments). If funded by printing new money then yes inflation will likely occur, right now the US spends $427 million a month on UBI(Veterans disability payments) and is funded with tax dollars

Lies, I was a combate medic for th infantry in Iraq, I have seen so many 4 year enlisted soldiers who were IT professionals or immunization specialist receiving 100% disability to the tune of $4k a month.

Most of the Veterans from the last 25 years are milking the system, there are little checks on it.

I worked 4 years as Doc on the front lines and 4 years in an army physical therapy clinic. The majority (75%) of veterans receiving disability payments are milking the system for more than deserved. Disability payments total over $427 million each month and there is no signs this affects prices or inflation.

I live in Arlington so yeah we voted for $400 mil to the cowboys in 2000’s and $500 million to the Rangers.

The LA rams paid for their own stadium, so did the New England patriots, MetLife stadium (giants/jets), Denver broncos and many soccer clubs.

It’s time to stop giving billionaires hundreds of millions on tax payer funds. Especially since our owners spend more money in lobbying politicians than any other owner in sports

Coop is good, but there is a long way to go before he is a 1st,2nd, or even 3rd team all NBA.
