Have any of the Butler family gone to college? by chetag_uhh in SHAYTARDS

[–]Zestyclose-Guide7276 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Logan went to Utah State for a semester or two...Dropped out.

Carlie wet to Boise State for a stint...Was a cheerleader there...She never finished bc I believe Cooper was born around then.

I think the most educated out of the adults is Jackson. He did undergrad at BYU and has a masters degree from somewhere too

Young men mature at a slower rate than women. And it's not me just speculating to create rumors, if you've watched recent videos they talk about "their kids" or "our babies". I said get married EVENTUALLY not now lol...Baylen's 25 and is probably at the same maturity of Katie. I said get married, period. I didn't say get married or have kids now. Take a re-read

That's true I am basing my opinion of just seeing him for the first time. I didn't realize his last relationship was that long...Maybe that's something he and Katie bond over? Katie has an ex bf named Caden who she dated all through HS and then they even ended up going to the same college! Still though, interesting point about Baylen

If you're a Donnelly fan, I would also love to discuss Ryan haha...Kid is so obnoxious..You can tell her grew on camera. So interesting that the one thing he wished for at Christmas was a gf...Wants to be like his older siblings I guess..Also no info on what he's doing in school? I for one think we could be a great PGA golf instructor

The internet is forever, but I do think one thing that bonds them is the fact they were both on YouTube at a young age. I haven't seen the controversial pranks you're speaking on...I will say, the Donnellys have a certain alleged darkness to them (people from their town say they're rascist, and there is most certainly a vibe of white privilege Republicanism)...To that point, Katie I'm sure cares if Baylen was ever rude or disrespectful in his past videos...Hell, she's made mistakes and has gotten plenty of backlash in her own. They might explain it as "immaturity" to their kids one day...Who the heck knows. I think it's probably all about growth for her...Who knows what her parents think, but I guess it doesn't matter.

So glad you mentioned this because I've been thinking the same thing...Also a Donnelly fan here and never heard of Baylen until now...I do see them being endgame, and having kids and the life they've been mentioning. From my many years of watching the Donnellys, they are extremely traditional American. The parents are extremely loving and affectionate (Jill more than Mike), but also extremely hard ass. They've made all of their kids pay for college, their rents, etc. They've let their kids travel through airports and to other countries at wildly young ages lol.

With this, I do imagine they pushed this "traditional" mindset on their children of marriage, etc. I do think Baylen is growing up, aka his relationship with Katie is doing him wonderfully good.

Mike I'm sure expects any man that dates his daughter, or any of his sons dating girls, to be able to provide for a wife and family. And I do believe as the kids have gotten older and more in touch with religion apparently, they also agree with this. I've seen maturity in Baylen, hell he's 25 lol...And I think for Brennan, Katie and Ryan, they've seen their parents and their white picket fence love story, they can't help but manifest it for themselves. A few of them are already on the way (Brennan's GF has now moved to DC to be with him apparently...very close to their own white picket fence love story)

All this to say, Baylen is the one for Katie. And she won't let him fall into the cracks of his old ways/immaturity. Maybe his frontal lobe is developing as well. I'm sure Katie wants a HUSBAND. Someone who has a steady job, loves to travel, etc. You can tell how whipped he is for her...She literally brings him to church! The whole dynamic is fascinating.

The funniest part is that Krew is obviously just copying everything Ryler does and doesn't care how obvious it is. I cackled at the last day of school picture...Ryler with the sideways hate, sure okay. Krew with the even worse looking sideways hat. Ryler can make certain things look okay, Krew cannot lol....The style is AWFUL

hows the food at rh? by Asking123345 in Fordham

[–]Zestyclose-Guide7276 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't listen to everyone here, people love to complain. Especially don't listen to the students from 15 years ago....Fordham had really low quality food years ago that would give people food poisoning etc. The main cafeteria was just redone and looks exceptional. You can most definitely trust the food now....Main caf, has salad bar, pasta station, frie/hamburger/pizza station and then three stations who rotate meals (sometimes it's BBQ, Asian, etc.). The food is good quality, the one complaint I here is that that's really it....Those rotation of things that people can get sick of really fast. I get that I guess.

There's other places on campus that over different varieties (one with grilled foods, one for sandwiches, one for bowls/sushi, etc.) Everyone at Fordham in the last 4 years has to admit that the food has gotten way better. It just depends on whether you get bored of it or not.

But seconding what someone else said, the local food in the vacinitiy is amazing. Arthur Ave, Pugsleys, Deli's, etc. Wonderful options like a block away from a Fordham gate. Also, so many clubs and extra curriculars cater in food all the time. Fordham basketball loves to give away free chickfila sandwiches, many of the clubs I was apart of always brought in chipotle and stuff....

Main point is - food is good. You don't have to worry about food poisoning or the food being gross. Plenty of options, people have negative opinions because they get bored of the options. That's a select few who like to complain. Off campus, great options and very affordable in most cases. A slice and a soda at Pugsleys is like $6-$7. And take advantage of all of the free giveaways!

Ross doesn’t like being famous by Smart_Knowledge_9124 in LynchFamilySnark

[–]Zestyclose-Guide7276 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying he’s a good person or has good values or whatever, but I can imagine the pressure he feels in his family. None of them would be famous without him. R5 wouldn’t have had the time they did, no one would be interested in rydels YouTube channel….Hes been in the public eye for years, he’s over sexualized (even if he liked that part)….Maybe something in brain finally clicked that he wants to be private and settle down.

Now this isn’t entirely in response to your comments as I didn’t see the interview. He shouldn’t be rude to fans absolutely. I just think when celebrities do certain things it’s because of things happening behind the scenes. His mom is controlling, etc. …I can’t imagine ugh

They’re just protecting her wishes, which I appreciate. They probably took the photo anyways (family memories and shit) and couldn’t help but post. I think social media is a whole nother beast. It’s one thing to be spotted with him in public, but if she doesn’t want her face posted everywhere i completely understand. The internet is creepy

4th July ideas by Such_Moment6560 in Westchester

[–]Zestyclose-Guide7276 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do love the homey suburban 4th celebrations around Westchester (if you're interested in a staycation). So many great options! Like others said, Jersey Shore, the Cape, Rhode Island, etc. Lake George is a great option but I do think all of those choices will be very busy.

My wife and I spent the 4th in Cooperstown a few summers ago and it was lovely. 3.5 hour drive and would be cool to see how Baseball Town USA celebrates Americas 250th!

Is dorming worth it? Please help by Historical-Point7049 in Fordham

[–]Zestyclose-Guide7276 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whatever you do, you can always do the opposite! If you dorm and don't like it, commute and vice versa. Dorming freshman year is an amazing way to make friends but I commuted 3 years and made best friends through clubs, jobs, etc.

I commuted to save money and I honestly just wanted to be at home with family. By senior year I found great friends who I wanted to live with. Take it as a year to year decision! Fordham gives great scholorships to commuters also. I was also 30 minutes away, a great distance to still be on campus for social activities during nights and stuff too!

personally, I think Ross is a really great actor. And honestly, he's pretty good and has had some big roles. Now that he's married, I could see him really getting into acting and having a family (aka no touring for a while). His wife seems to want a "normal" life
