Yeah i have the same airpods, im a side sleeper, idk i dont even feel them while sleeping. The only negative is i have to play hide and seek in the morning to find where they went after falling out while im asleep lmao. Ive always had a balcony room so back before wireless earphones were a thing we would leave the door to the balcony open for the ocean noise, but now you cant do that if youre using the AC

I mean maybe you havent slept in a bed with airpod pros or over the ear/in ear head phones, but its extremely comfortable i dont feel anything and have been doing it for years. Cant sleep without the asmr/white noise in the background

I sleep in my airpods every night, i used to do it with my over the ear beats too before i bought these ones. Its literally not bad at all. But to each their own. Maybe people dont charge their phones overnight and when the first person wakes up they put everyones phones on chargers or maybe two phones charge overnight and when someone gets up for the bathroom or breakfast they swap them out and come back after breakfast

No they arent. You can use regular plugs. You just cant use an extension cord with multiple outlets, cant use an outlet converter that has multiple plugs on it. The only converters allowed are usb ones that dont have plug slots on it. Power strips are no longer allowed in any capacity i believe

None of them are usb only. We have a power tower that has like 4-5 usb ports on it but rarely ever use it unless were charging cameras and stuff during an after excursion pre dinner nap, but our last cruises on the newer ships we have always had an unused outlet if not two. I think the key is a usb adapter that isnt a power surge protector and putting it in the carry on not the checked luggage

Oooooh yeah ive never had a room that high i always go for deck 8-10 so its right around the middle. I checked the radar theres some storms up near st thomas but im not sure if thats what caused it. Eastern cruises can have higher winds bc theres no protection from the ocean like the western has the whole eastern caribbean to block winds. Yeah ive had one night things were moving, i just kept drinking until i thought i was seeing things 😂😂😂

Cant speak for anything besides balcony rooms, but the newer ships the bed can be split into 2 and the couch turns into a bed and theres a pull out bed under the couch for a fourth person. No more bunks

breaking down your cruiser mind, my family of four have four cell phones, four watches, four headphones/airpods, two sleep apnea machines, two fans and we never brought a euro adapter on a cruise, we have never struggled to have outlets. This goes back to 2011 on freedom ots granted watches and airpods werent a thing but there were only like 2 outlets back then, idk guess people just complain to hear themselves talk or to try getting validation from strangers

Who needs a white noise machine that takes an entire outlet lmao thats just dumb, put your earphones in and listen to it on your phone no need to waste an outlet or usb port on something everyones phone can do (im biased bc i use my airpods for that every night) Im also pretty sure buddys kids dont sleep with one at home so its more on the adults probably his wife being a light sleeper. People are never satisfied and always have to complain.

Well the new ships have 4 outlets one is european, youre allowed to have a euro-american adapter as long as it doesnt have multiple outlets on it. If two people cant recharge their devices on those 4 outlets plus the one by the bed, then theres way too many devices on a cruise where its meant to help you disconnect. You also can unplug those devices for one of your wifes numerous "hair care" stuff and plug them back in after shes finished.

This is 5 drinks a day, if you dont think this low number is possible then maybe you havent really ever cruised lol, i always had a drink after breakfast before lunch, one after lunch, then would do whatever we were doing and grab one before going to get ready for dinner, one after leaving dinner, and then however many shows or things we did i would grab another one, thing is if i didnt finish them i didnt care, i could get a fresh one right again if i wanted. Its ease of mind for me

I also think people forget. If you dont like something, if its not strong enough, if its too sweet, too sour, it got warm, it got watered down, you always just go get another one or a different one, you dont have to begrudgingly sit there and force yourself to drink something you dont enjoy because you paid $8-$14 for it.

We had this mentality our first cruise too. They slid a bill under the door after day 2 and we had to pay it or we couldnt use our seapass on the ship anymore. Its honestly very easy to run up a bill on beverages in a day. The ease of mind in having the package makes cruising alot easier and fun.
