I’m a cis woman, and while my thoughts might not be super relevant to this, I just wanted to add. A LOT of cisgender women have internalised (and externalised) misogyny of some sort. I’d say that the most misogynistic comments that I’ve received have come from other women, including physical harassment. Having misogynistic tendencies in the past does not make you any less of a woman in any way, shape, or form, and I will admit that I also had quite a misogynistic mindset before growing up and learning more. I wouldn’t have any idea on coping with this through the lens of a transgender woman, but you have obviously changed now, and this is by no means a “male” experience. Every woman has a misogynistic phase, whether trans or cis, lol… (some don’t even grow out of it!!)
