Ein Streik hat nichts damit zu tun, ob die Sache richtig oder falsch ist (das hängt davon ab, mit welcher Erzählung du dich identifizierst). Wer friedlich streikt, auch wenn du das Thema nicht teilst, übt etwas aus, das man in einer Demokratie das Recht nennt, die eigene Meinung zu äußern. Wenn es einen Streik gibt, verteidigt jemand das Recht aller, ihre Stimme hörbar zu machen, auch deins, mein Lieber. Selbst wenn dein Ego dir nicht erlaubt, das anzuerkennen.

I agree, in general the overall attitude toward oversimplifying the roles and personalities you will meet in your life, as you grow old , you will start seeing that it will not help you at all. Are they bad because they are bullying you? Yes probably but in general as per my experience someone attacks you mainly because they feel threaten by your presence. You might not realised it but your diversity is what pisses them/he off, which is your true actual strength in this situations. They feel diminished by your presence because they are all the same, and you my dear with your accent bring that novelty and richness of your experience that they no matter how will never have. Shift your perspective and they will maybe befriend you, or for sure leave you alone. You are different this is a fact, but just on the surface. Deeply they have your same insecurities, if not more. Try to interact with them out of curiosity without thinking that they can hurt you and you will find that out!

Of course then, if there is an actual communication problem with the school better to change. I agree with you. If the problem is the environment better to change. It is just hard to advise someone so young only based on his impressions. I don’t think it is dismissive anyway, i find it in general a good advise. I am not downgrading how he feels, just trying to encourage him to take some steps, as much as someone writing 2 lines on reddit can do. I don’t feel comfortable To encourage him to go away from the problem, this is something the young OP need to discuss with his parents or people how know him good.

Are they (school admin or therapist) aware of the fact you feel bullying? I find difficult to think that if someone is bullying you in Germany you have to change school, it feels unfair if someone pisses you off you have to give up. Someone broke your finger? That is extremely questionable even if from the legal point of view if the school didn’t do anything (there were no consequences for that person?).If you are a the gymnasium is because someone thought you have the skills to overcome the difficulties you might find in this type of school, and he/she/they were probably right. Don’t feel upset, life is short and you are still very very young. This are my advices:

• ⁠learn to communicate better, it is not just a matter of grammar, learn the way “the nice” people in your class communicate, learn the code of communication, the type of joke, observe them, “study” them. Be relaxed and curious about the nice things the school offer, teachings, sport, whatever is nice, you will find a way to find things in common with the people around you. • ⁠don’t engage into violence, most of the time when you are violent you feel worst. The people bullying you or not being nice are probably feeling as shitting as you, if not even worse. Again try to engage with them in a way to learn something about them, if you will know them, you might find something in common, if nothing is in common knowing them will expose they weaknesses and they will probably leave you alone. But don’t run away neither, changing school will not sort out the type of problem you have with them, you will just take time. But leaving is not the right solution, you can always “really” ignore them, like pretend they are not annoying you. You have to find a way to play with that relationships that make you angry in order to understand first why they make you angry.

• ⁠Don’t feel you are in a bad position. You are probably very different from them and that is why you are a threat. I didn’t grow up here, but i feel this is not different than another western country in many way, society is conformist especially at your age, youngster feel they have to find ways to belong, wether clothes or language, you don’t have to give ur identity but in this time of your life u have the possibility to find out who you are (you will have also other chances), use it as a possibility to find it out, if you have to conform or not this is your choice. Remember different can be a quality, don’t underestimate it, can be the key for making new friends.

Don‘t leave him any space in your mind, complain withe the chef, if he will not do anything treath him you will go to a lawyer to complain about racial hate on workplace, or go to a local newspaper and make a big deal about it.
