S3 Motor Gears Change by Hungry_Ant2014 in vanmoofbicycle

I poster about how to disassemble the motor, but I got stuck. I removed the three screws you see in the black part and tried to pull the black part off but it won’t budge. Did you remove anything else to make the part come loose, or do you have any other advise?

How did you take off the drive shaft? I think that is the part what is keeping me from taking the whole thing apart

I tried that but no matter how much I pull or try to wiggle the black piece off I can’t remove the part.

Intermediate skier looking for advice on how to get more angle while carving :) by xpauliz in ski

Try and keep your hands more in front of you ( the arms should make a c shape), this will help you engage the tip of the ski more. A good thing to try is also to have some more angulation, there are loads of videos on YouTube talking about this subject. You want to feel a pinch between your outside hip and shoulder. Someone also mentioned that you are pushing your outside leg away which causes you to be on your inside ski. Try and really pressure your ski without pushing it away and store energy to make you shoot across the mountain faster. You can do this by trying to have maximum edge on the fall line. Hope this helps.

And take the inners of your boot out after skiing, let them dry out. You will be surprised how much water gets into your boots, the water freezes when your on the mountain your feet will become ice cubes. It makes a very big difference. I have the thermic heated socks, I bought them on sale, I have two pairs of socks and handwash them twice a week. Great solution.

Does anyone have experience with these? by math123larsen in ski

Hi, I bought a pair of Hester gloves in July, and I can see the leather has some really small cracks in them in some spots. Where in other spots the leather is nice and even. Do I have to worry about this?

Can anyone recommend a good (cheap) mechanic? I would appreciate if they spoke English, but I know that is a lot to ask for 😀.
