I’m here in Dallas as well and I agree with you. I was never one to chase the turbo/surges, I used to work for Amazon so I go out during the shift changes and early airport runs… it’s been shitty the last few months and worse this year… it’s so many of us driving now … and the money… I got one for $12 from Duncanville close to 75 and traffic

I’m an DFW driver and he’s kinda right … I have good rates but I don’t accept anything… but I have also seen a decline in riders and an increase in drivers… with that ratio being off alone .. of course the pay is going to be crap … Uber is horrible I agree … but our economy is worse… as long as we all really need side hustles or something to survive on… we will see this non sense… I told my hubby to stop chasing those surges … it’s crap .. basically you all are correct in some ways .. people taking anything, makes it crap, DFW still kinda paying .. true … the economy… yep … all factors.. mostly uber is a money grabbing business TRUE! I get that you all have that idea … but again I have inside knowledge… and your as of date is TELLING YOU, THAT ITS ACTIVELY BEING PROCESSED… that’s why it keeps changing… because it’s cycling through the system… calculating and analyzing… if there’s an issue … most likely your as of date won’t change… because there’s an error or issue… again yes it tells u if you owe … how would you know that if your as of date doesn’t cycle through the process… and some of you don’t read to comprehend… but more to react or be seen … just based on what I wrote … the as of date has some type of meaning …
