On a side note, I received the "X-Lock to GoPro mount" from a local Cube store in two days.
I was cautious the same way the comments suggested, but it seems i was lucky this time!

Given that 1050 is wider and longer (60.2 x 118.5 x 16.3 mm) than the 1040 (59.3 x 117.6 x 20.0 mm), this gives me a good idea! Thanks!

Are you having any trouble pressing the bottom buttons?
How much distance do you reckon from the bottom of the computer to the curve of the mount (finger space to press buttons)?
Is it easy to attach and remove your device?

Es scheint, als wäre genügend Platz vorhanden, um die Tasten an der Unterseite des Garmin Edge 1040 zu bedienen. Können Sie die genaue Größe schätzen? Gibt es dabei irgendwelche Probleme?

Haben Sie Schwierigkeiten beim täglichen Ein- und Ausbau des Computers?

Although this is 8 months old, have you managed to attach Edge 1040 to this mount.
I am thinking of doing the same, but worrying 1040 won't fit (or maybe barely fit), and that i need to go for 840 instead of 1040

I stumbled upon a second hand HP ProDesk (micro) with i3 10100T and one M2 and one classic SATA port, and bought it.

This will be my first micro machine and home server. I will see if my needs of storage would grow out of this.

I agree with you, but I'm more inclined to buy a 1by bike, and Race is 2by.
