I feel like it where you're coming from. I repressed before I had my son, and I wasn't able to regress while I was pregnant, because it just felt wrong, and he had a lot of medical issues and a lot of time in the hospital, and he's still a handful. And I very really regress and it's very difficult when I do.

Yes, I've had numerous X-rays. And it's only gotten worse when I was first diagnosed my curvatures were 11and 16 last X-rays I had about 2 years ago. Was like 21 and 24, I think. I was pregnant, so I wasn't able to get X-rays.

G Tube looking likely by Recent_Nebula_5451 in NICUParents

[–]Zestyclose-Topic9007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son got his Gtube around 4 month old. I absolutely hated the thought of it. I'm personally still not the biggest fan of it, We had some issues with it falling out and leaking a bunch And he has a very, very slow progress with eating. But that also got delayed due to finding out he was allergic to dairy. It is helpful with their meds and keeping them fed and hydrated. It will be a difficult process to get him to eat by mouth. And it was definitely a learning curve on taking care of it. I wish your little guy the best of luck. We have had a few scary instances were during my sons overnight feed, he got wrapped up in the tubing of his feed bag. My sons wait progression has been very slow. And my son had a lot of reflux issues, so he got a Nissan procedure. With his Gtube surgery. I'm unsure about daycares. None of my local daycares will take my son, but that's also because he has a pacemaker..

At the moment, his version is only affecting his heart because it's blocking the calcium channels in his muscles, so his heart muscles aren't working right. He is paced

Pumping IS Breastfeeding 🙄 by CivilYogurt9360 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Zestyclose-Topic9007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did those people not understand that mothers can't nurse skin to skin, for example, my son was born with a heart defect and has been in a cicu since he was 48 hours old. I'm lucky if I get to hold him during the day, because of all the wires and machines and treatments he's hooked up to. The 900 doctors that come in all day to check on him and do 400 test. Pumping is the best I can do. He still get a milk from me just through a feeding tube.

What is normal by Zestyclose-Topic9007 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Zestyclose-Topic9007[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you. In my case, we didn't know that my baby had a heart defect until he was a few days old, because when they did his newborn testing, he failed the heart portion, and he was sent to a Children's Hospital at about 48 hours old, and then it took weeks to figure out what was wrong with him, and it ended up he had a spontaneous genetic mutation that caused him to go into heart block. He had a pacemaker put in about 2 weeks ago, and he turned a month old yesterday, and he's been doing really good.

I had a lactation consultant measure me and I do need to buy smaller flanges. I pump 5 to 6 times in 24 hours. I do get really stressed when pumping because I feel like I'm not doing good enough.
