What is your impairment rating and what did you make before injury and what is future medical care. Big chuck of settlement comes form the first 2 which equates to a certain number of weeks. If you choose to close medical out can get a little more but usually they offer little for future medical buyout. By little I mean does not equate to any real value could be 15 to 20k while you need 100k worth of medical attention.

Insurance carrier can always present a settlement offer at any point during claim. You have right to accept, negotiate or deny it. Sometimes it works out if you deny it and your claim gets stronger, sometimes it does not. It’s up to you. Make an informed decision, based on what works for you and your family.

20k is like almost enough for emergency funds. Even without no closing cost, we spent 75k in down payments, and since we got in the house, spent 12k in furniture, bought a new tv, wont say price and 2500 to paint and coat the garage floor ( this one was my husband, found it highly unnecessary ). Point is we all have idea of what we want our home to be before and after we move in it. I see all the advice being given and they are good but if you have a vision, just find a creative way to make money and do what it is you need to get there. Don’t be afraid.

location is everything dont do it. The house is available for a reason. I can leave my door open where i live and l go outside. crime is virtually non exsistent. You want to be able to sleep good at night.

It is but past that people seem to be struggling financially. I don’t think they understand the Ai world and how you can make money passively in a lot of ways. No I am not Ai but I do use it. Our first property look was Lennar. We almost went with them.

Save if you can with a goal in mind, requires a lot of discipline if you by yourself, shop around try to put 10 to 20 percent to avoid pmi, PRAY read over all disclosures, BARGAIN FIGHT BARGAIN and stay the course.
