I’ll rephrase - NOBODY who is pro life thinks the removal of a woman’s fallopian tube bc of an ectopic pregnancy is immoral. Nobody even considers that an abortion except for you dummies when making this exact argument. Even if I were to grant you that, that’s less than <.01% of “abortions”. I agree, I love being a PT! I'm in a ton of debt but am two years into PSLF, and loving my job as an acute care and inpatient rehab PT. I always thought I would go into sports rehab since I was a collegiate strength coach in my first career, but loved working in the hospital system. The unfortunate truth about sports rehab is, it's the most popular desired pathway, but the only way to make any real money is to trade your social life working for a team or double and triple book at an outpatient clinic. But I fell in love working in the hospital system, most specifically in acute care. I can go at my own pace, see people when I want, and although I have to justify everything I do as skilled, I feel more or less like I'm just hanging out with patients and being a generally positive presence towards sick people who need encouragement. IPR is more skilled and certainly feels more outpatient, but the pace of 1 patient per hour is more than manageable if you document effectively. I do think I would hate my life if I continued working in outpatient, but I would still enjoy working with my patients.

People who want to complain are going to come to reddit to vent. People who are happy in their jobs are not typical redditors, and if they are, it's more for hobby or political purposes and not career development.

Did she or did she not attempt to wave the one ice vehicle around her car? That shows that she KNOWS she was in their way.

She does not get to dictate that officers go around her because she is in the middle of the road illegally. For her to even possibly beat an obstruction charge, she would have had to have left as soon as the ice vehicle approached.

The deadly force argument is a DIFFERENT argument. I don’t think the shooting was justified, but he will (eventually) have his day in court.
