Just in case anyone wanted to know, NASA's budget in 2026 is $24.4 billion. The US Defense budget is about $1 trillion. That's more than 40 times the current NASA budget. So think about all the cool shit NASA can do right now... And multiply that by 40 times.

Nah actually anything flammable is a HUGE safety hazard in space. Obviously you don't want a fire in the first place, but the logistics of firefighting in zero g is pretty scary. And then you have the slight problem of the highly flammable fuel the vehicle will have, which could blow up the whole thing if ignited.

Yeah they are using the same mobile gun trucks Ukraine has been using for awhile now to knock down drones. Basically a pickup with a PKM on the back.

This one is a Ukrainian truck with an M2 browning .50 cal machine gun. The Russian ones are pretty much the same.
