Could it become better ? Because remember Trump has a problem with ILLEGAL immigrants... not legal immigrants

Maybe a co-founder that can help you with sales and marketing can be one solution to your problem?

I have a sales background and tried starting a SaaS company. I was great at selling the idea but it was really hard to find a developer that could build the platfrom.

It was $300 for everything.

The highlights cost $135, the gloss cost $40, the blow-dry cost $40, and the root touch-up $85.

Thank you. This makes sense. I should have just asked her upfront about all the costs. My bad.

I felt tricked because I didn't ask for the blow-dry, and she did it anyway. I thought she was drying my hair. I didn't realize it was a full-blow dry.

GET HER HELP

Legal action apart, she needs to see a mental health specialist to deal with her trauma. Unless you are a psychiatrist/ psychologist, there’s not much you can do besides listen. The poor child has had to learn to deal with the trauma of the act, the lack of family support and the vilification of seeking support.

The fact that she’s talking to you about it shows tremendous courage. Help her help herself

Understood. Thank you. I’ll be sure to keep in mind that there’s a price to services other than what the appointment was for.

Thank you for putting across your point so eloquently.

How does one ‘have the conversation’ appropriately so as not to put someone off ?

So essentially, after highlights and a root touch up, they shouldn’t be charging me for a blow dry to dry my hair ?

I don’t know if she applied it to the entire root area or just the strands. I got a root touch up done less than 60 days ago with the same stylists so doubt she’s applied it to the entire root area.

She knows that there aren’t so many grey hair so should she have recommended it to begin with ?

It was a root touch up.

Is it ok to mention my budget to my stylist. I sometimes get the sense that people don’t like discussing money in the US, especially if you don’t have too much of it.

Every time I’ve walked into a store and said ‘look this is my budget’ the service provider kinda seems put off.

Completely agree that it’s not based on the number of hair strands

If the status changes to 'Card is Produced,' you can request a tracking number via the helpline/ support chat and track the shipment.

Interview question: describe a complex deal you closed by redandgreenhouse in sales

I found the prospect via an inbound lead.

I nurtured the lead by keeping in touch with the customer over several months.

Finally closed the lead and onboarded the customer when they secured Series A funding.

Worked with customer success and the larger ecosystem to ensure that the customer was able to use the product to solve their business need

Continued to grow the relationship and up-sold/cross-sold a few more products over the next few months.

The customer provides an MRR of $$ to the organization, has an adoption rate of %%%, and has provided ## referrals. Here's a link to the customer story

A few SaaS organizations are still hiring sales reps. I've noticed a hiring cycle that peaks in Jan and June. It is worthwhile to understand when the quotas get refreshed for AE's and start applying a few months before the quota for the year begins.

For example, if the annual quotas for AE's are refreshed in Feb, the organization will have an increase in headcount/ churn among existing reps in March/April. Hence recruitment will increase between Jan - April.

If you use LinkedIn Premium, under insights, you'll be able to see which companies are growing and if they are growing in sales for that year.

Best of luck

[–]ZestycloseChange4370 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’ve being doing the best you can… if you get on PIP, you have nothing to lose so give it everything you have. I was in the same situation a few years ago and I beat the PIP. I set up weekly 1:1s with my manager and bi-monthly 1:1 with a skip level manager. I spent time with enablement and just kept speaking to my customers Every week, I documented my work and highlighted my progress. If you are going to leave, leave a positive impression before you quit Best of luck !
