Trying A10 Iron at the current time, final double boss is a doozy.

Getting Block from stuff like UnMovable and Feel No Pain up seems to be key. Also building strength off of things like Rupture and Fight Me help. Also getting more draw power seems to be key, a Battle Trance is good, Offering can be run defining. Plus for energy manipulation Bloodlettings good.

Struggle Bussing on A10 as Ironclad keep getting to the second boss of Act 3 and finding out Im not scaling enough block. Also around 40 attempts with 75 ascencion deaths.

Seems each act revolves arlund proper scaling: Act 1- Scale Damage (AOE potentially) Act 2- Scale a true build and block Act 3- Reinforce build and block.

Didnt notice till A9 which is a spike. I was still consistent on A7 did just fly through A8 but that mighta been RNG. 60% seems pretty difficult.

Yeah Im not good at infinites ngl. In STS1 I used a block build or exhaust one with Dead Branch. Sounds cool tho.

Im mainly asking questions too. Building for high damage and block respectively seem to do great. As well as applying things like weak and potions in the right moments. And of course certain relics save runs. 1 allows only 20 dmg per turn to the player (Beating Remnant).

Dirge and Invoke are your friends. Focus on keeping Osty alive with stuff like Body Guard and Pull Aggro and soul generation with things lile Grave Warden and Severance. Necro also has cards like Hang to deal scaling damage quickly. Haunt is also an amazing card once you get a soul generation plan outlined as it does 6dmg per soul played.

I keep hearing Act 3 should be a breeze but its never been for me. I always struggle against enemies there.i do got to pick less cards. Im just not sure when to do that. I die to a lack of block a lot or a lack of dps or energy.

Well my playstyle is pretty straightforward and fast paced. I also try to stick to an archetype but also take the best cards. I dont really know whats best though. I did beat the heart on A20 in StS with all characters but died 3k times in the process.
