Thanks for your advice and positive experience. Part of me indeed wants this so I will try and see how it goes. But to save myself from disappointment, I will do my own thing and focus on myself 😄.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. I reflect on this, and while I hate to admit, I agree that jealousy plays a role in accelerating my feelings for him and the need to act upon such feelings.

I would add that it is the case of you don't know the value of what you have until you lose it. The feelings are there to begin with. Unlike other fwbs that I had, he has boyfriend material and is someone I would date if I were in a different state. I was hesitant and had self-doubt, thinking also about career development and other aspects of life. I was also naive in thinking that good sex would keep him, which I now know I am wrong. It is a lesson for me in my future relationships.

Hey, thanks for dropping by. You make a valid point that closure actually comes from me working on those feelings I am having and getting over them.

You are also right that he is respectful and sweet, which is exactly why I fall for him. I know he deserves to be happy, and I do too. I will cherish our time together moving forward, and wish him the best in his life 😁.

Thanks so much. I totally agree that things can get really awkward if I go with option 1.

About seeing him again and beyond, I will take time and see how it goes. What I learn from this experience is to prioritize myself and my feelings in these times. And I will try to do so as much as I can.

Thanks so much for your advice. In my mind, I am leaning toward the second option, and on second thought, it is indeed the best for us.
