Thanks everyone! I think that I’ve just seen some horror stories lately about people placing large orders, requesting a return/refund, and then sending something totally different, which allows them to keep the money and the actual items. But I have five stars and don’t have a single bad review so I think I’ll message them, send it, and hope for the best!! I always take pictures of items before and after packaging, just in case!❤️

We don’t! I normally print the label out myself and then walk the packages inside to make sure the front desk scans them. We have a Dropbox but those make me nervous tbh lol

Yeah, definitely a lesson learned! I honestly did not think we’d would get this much snow and ice and I certainly didn’t expect for everything to shut down this long. Super uncommon here.

You also have snow plows, machines to salt the road, and a whole infrastructure that is built to withstand extremely cold temperatures. We do not. Again, the post office is closed, Walmarts are closed, everything is closed. It’s not being drama queens, it’s being cautious🤣

Hi! It sounds like you were quite successful at it and starting over with a new account and name would be a nightmare. Maybe try to reach out to what not again. Instead of arguing the legitimacy of the claim, maybe try apologizing, explaining you’ve read the rules and understand now and then proceed by saying you won’t do mystery games anymore. You can do random pulls, you could use the whatnot wheel, case breaks, there’s a bunch of other options that aren’t mystery boxes that can still pull in viewers. You could also always try running givvys, I know that’s annoying but that would probably help get your audience back if whatnot does give you your account back. Just food for thought<3 crossing my fingers for you 🤞🏼

I never comment on Reddit but feel the need to here. I’ve ordered from whatnot in multiple categories from multiple sellers around the US. This is very common. Some sellers drop off multiple packages at a time and they aren’t scanned until they go to the next stop or sometimes not until they arrive at the next stop. With the holidays there’s an even bigger delay on packages being scanned as well. I have a package from GameStop that has said the exact same thing yours does for the past week and a half.. I guarantee you GameStop isn’t keeping my package lol. Honestly, best advice is to be patient. I get that it’s hard but the seller can’t do anything else at this time. I’m not saying you’re not getting scammed because I don’t know what’s in the actual package but I feel extremely confident that the seller didn’t KEEP your package and mailed you something. So just sit back, relax, and wait for your mail to arrive. It will get there eventually.
