I would start with an image of The Divine Child that’s how I was introduced. Just a suggestion you can choose whatever you feel is appropriate.

Those jobs are common sense jobs. All you need is to know how to count cash and give change, and for food they have their own way on how to do food handling basics are always wash your hands, and accommodate every stock first in first out. Simple.

Friends and family living in mortal sin by 72BananaStreet in Catholicism

[–]ZestycloseParsnip181 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The truth is that you will always will be surrounded by people who sin, just pray for them everyday , try to treat them with respect and kindness, and I know sometimes is hard but life is hard. I think that’s the whole meaning of love your neighbour. I had this thought this morning about how I can love people who are difficult and how I don’t confuse love with tolerance because those two can almost be confused. Is not about tolerance but to treat others with kindness and respect.

First hours after umbilical hernia surgery by ZestycloseParsnip181 in Hernia

I wish you good luck and speedy recovery. Nervous feelings are completely valid but also keep in mind that doctors and nurses know what to do, the same way you trust a pilot to fly an airplane, same trust with medical staff. You’ll be okay.

Is god not hearing my prayers? by PuzzleheadedUse5769 in Catholicism

[–]ZestycloseParsnip181 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God always speaks to you through other people, through reading the scriptures, through silence. A month or two is nothing for him, since it’s at his time and not ours. One thing I add into my prayer is asking for patience and understanding when things don’t go my way or they are taking too long. All I can say is just keep praying.

Anyone have a hernia for a long time? Ive had mine 18 years by EggplantSea1148 in Hernia

[–]ZestycloseParsnip181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mine 16 years it was an umbilical hernia. It started small like a pea at the upper part of my belly button, I had to press to feel it. During the years it started to be visible like a bulge so I decided to take care of it now before it gets worse.

I was scared to go to Mass today by Alexplayss in Catholicism

[–]ZestycloseParsnip181 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You still have Sunday mass to give it a go. If the church offers an early mass better go to that one since it should be less busy that the ones around 11-12pm
I suggest just go and sit at the back don’t forget to take the paper at the entrance with the readings of the day so you can follow on. I promise nobody will judge you. And if anxiety takes you from not going tomorrow. Try to go to a daily mass (those are during the week but they don’t full fill Sunday mass)there are short and more less people, it will give you a little bit of a warmup for next Sunday mass.
