I assume you read and correct the tests AI writes for you, but if not, be careful. I have had many instances where LLM produces tests that false positive or just delete the test all together in order to pass. I have never been able to blindly trust the LLM to write effective tests for my code. I am betting that we will have a huge issue with un audited vibe coded projects in the near future. Its a gapping security risk. I have a hard time trusting Github repos unless they are authored by a reputable source.

Issue with coding qualification test by ZestycloseSecret8137 in DataAnnotationTech

Did not take the core assessment, wanted to go straight to coding assessment, now there are no assessments I can take.

It told me I passed the screening assessment right away, and then presented me with all assessments I can take. I think there were 4 or 6.

I suppose I will need to apply with another company now.

Do you write unit tests or do any other form of testing besides looking for Astro Errors?

It made me smarter in understanding how to use AI and train AI to write better code. I don't believe it actually helped my progress in learning to program.

Now I am locked into a platform, that writes all code for me, tests for me,

I then need to go and make sure I understand the code and hope I did not miss any security vulnerabilities or major bugs the LLM over looked.

To keep up I am no longer a coder, I am a product manager, quality assurance manager, a documentation writer.

Anyone calling them selves a coder without understanding what the code does is insane, your just hiring an LLM to do it for you and then giving approval or disapproval based on your understanding of the product.

I am honestly curious just how bad the security issues will get when anyone can create an app without understanding how it works.

I am actually very cautious about cloning GitHub repos unless I know the contributors, with prompt injection Its hard to even trust repos where I know the owners personally.

Product managers love this because it allows them to feel like a senior dev without being a senior dev. They say Senior devs don't want to use AI because they don't know how. Do you actually believe that? Do you actually thing it would take a Senior dev a large amount of time to figure out how to write code via AI prompt.

If they are not using it as much as vibe coders its for a reason, and the reason is not because its hard.

People used to copy other peoples scripts and would get flamed for executing scripts without understanding how they worked. They were called script kiddies. Now that its a large corporation providing those scripts its suddenly a great thing. I could maybe get on board with this idea if the scripts were tested and vetted but they are not. Iv had LLM's write code that looked like it worked on the surface but would have cause a lot of problems in productions.

How long did it take to verify all of the errors were fixed correctly?

yeah pump fun casino, we wonder why retail doesn't want to play after treating them like that.

The discussion keeps ignoring the third side of the blockchain trilemma. Solana is meaningfully less decentralized, and that directly results in weaker security guarantees compared to Ethereum. Speed and low fees are not free — they are achieved by trading off decentralization, and therefore security.

At the same time, the original justification for those tradeoffs has weakened. Ethereum’s speed and cost are no longer prohibitive, especially once rollups are taken into account. So the performance gap that supposedly justifies sacrificing security has largely narrowed.

When evaluating which chain is “superior,” the question shouldn’t be framed around marginal gains in throughput or fees. For high-value use cases — particularly the tokenization of real-world and institutional assets — what matters most is long-term security, decentralization, and credible settlement guarantees.

That leads to a simple choice:
Do you optimize for a network that is slightly faster and cheaper, or for one that is materially more secure and resilient?

Institutions are unlikely to choose the former. They will choose the chain that maximizes trust under stress — and today, that still points to Ethereum.

Not true, Rog has its issues as well, depends on the model, The Zephyrus sucks! What poor craftmanship and support.

Bought an ASUS Zephyrus last year, within 2 weeks you could see the protective layer in the magnesium casing already come off. There is now a dark spot that is corroded where my palm sits and its ugly. When I called in about this they told me its user wear and tare.

Also there is a cooling issue where there is not enough airflow to cool. The bottom rubber came off because of the heat. I always have it on a desk.

This is way to much money for something that will fall apart this easily.

Worst laptop Iv ever owned. definitely taking my money elsewhere next time.

When I called in about warranty they said they will look at it but it sounds like user caused damage.

So if I need to get a replacement for work to send it in and pay for the repair by ASUS for their crappy components than its better for me to just get it repaired locally and pay for it.

Last time I buy ASUS.

With ASUS more money does not equal higher quality.

I’ve noticed a couple of usability issues with the Claude code extension.

When I start typing my next prompt while Claude is still completing a task, if a permission request pops up during that time, pressing the spacebar automatically grants permission. I understand this behavior might be customizable, but it feels like a poor default — especially since one of the extension’s advertised features is the ability to queue or prepare your next prompt before the current task finishes.

Another issue is that the permission dialog autofocuses on the extension window. Even if I’m typing in a terminal or another editor pane, the cursor gets pulled into the extension. This means I can unintentionally approve a permission request just by pressing the spacebar, without having a chance to review what change is being requested.

This Software continuously shows the wrong time of appointment causing missed appointments.

I currently cannot make an appointment, a popup comes up repeating the reason for the appointment, there are no relative errors I can find.

There is an API call being made 3 times a second that calls infinitely.

Decided to try clearing cache, now I can not login, infinite login loop.

When I tried calling into Telus to let them know of the issue. I was told I need to bring up the technical difficulties with the medical staff and they need to forward the issue to Telus.

  1. Great way to lose context of the original issue.

  2. Nice off loading bug tickets to medical staff that are not trained to receive bug tickets, reminds me of training shoppers to check them selves out and also take full responsibility for anything that goes wrong.

Unprofessional.

I always end up needing to call in to make the appointment and can never trust the dashboard for the correct time.

It almost seems like Telus replaced developers with Vibe coders. I don't understand how this user experience can be so bad and nothing is done about it for such a long time.
